It's a decent film, with a tragic ending, i suppose the Dad got his comeuppance for all the jews he put to death. The stranger thing about the film was how they all spoke in English..

They showed this movie in class to my kid she's in 8th grade. She said the whole class was left STUNNED and SPEECHLESS at the end of the movie. It was a rude awakening for them.

If you guys want to see a good movie about that same time and subject, "The Book Thief" is terrific.

I don't watch it TIS, but it's been 8 years since the Sopranos. Another "so much older" actor is Chandler from Friends. Perry is starting a new comedy and he is looking up there in years.

I was gonna mention it, Tis. But I knew you'd beat me to it grin.

Hey, he'll be 49 next month. He's a middle-aged man now. That didn't surprise me nearly as much as how small the part was. I guess parts are drying up for him.

I've noticed that that's happened with a lot of those "Sopranos" actors because of the typecast thing. But Imperioli is a MUCH better actor than most of those guys, so it's a shame.

(CNN)Former Olympic decathlon champion and reality TV star Bruce Jenner was involved in a fatal four-car accident in Southern California on Saturday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.

Jenner was the driver of one vehicle, Deputy Ray Hicks told CNN.

Hicks said Jenner was answering questions about the midday wreck in Malibu.

Yes I was reading about that crash.

Deputies said a white Lexus was one of two vehicles that stopped abruptly in front of Jenner. He rear ended the Lexus by chain reaction, and pushed the vehicle into oncoming traffic.

The Lexus was then struck by a Hummer at the scene.

Authorities pronounced the elderly female driver of the Lexus dead at the scene. Her identity is being withheld pending family notification.

Seven other motorists were injured – including Jenner, an infant and two small children – were transported by paramedics for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the crash. Their conditions remain unknown at this time.

Jenner was being followed by paparazzi at the time, but they did not play a factor in the crash, said deputies, adding that neither party was speeding.

The PCH remains closed in both directions while officials investigate what caused the collision.

Wow! Jenner's transition into becoming a woman is happening faster than we thought. He is already turning into a terrible female driver tongue Just kidding. As a kid I remember him as a hero. Now I have no idea what to make of him.

(CNN)Actor Gary Busey hit a pedestrian while he was backing out of a parking lot in Malibu, authorities said.

Busey, 70, was leaving a shopping center Friday afternoon when he allegedly hit the unidentified woman. She was treated and released at the scene, authorities said.

He was not cited and there was no evidence of alcohol or illegal substances, said Lt. Anthony Rotella of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

I feel sorry for that Busey guy. The guy has some serious mental issues. I'm glad that no one was hurt.

That Amazon commercial he does creeps me out, especially trying to jam a seashell into the HDMI port.

I was watching Law & Order reruns. It's amazing how many stars have appeared on it either before they were well known or after such as Edie Falco, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Allison Janney, William Macy, Samuel L. Jackson, and Gary Busey to name a few.

NYPD Blue was the same way, especially for the wave of actors on HBO shows later in the 1990s and 2000s.

Whereas Blue Bloods appears to be a retirement home for Sopranos characters. Just off the top of my head - Gene Pontecorvo, Artie, Patsy Parisi, Agent Harris to name a few.

The bigger the show, the more exposure future stars tend to receive. Look at Cheers. Harry Anderson and Fred Dryer were regulars who later appeared on their own successful shows.

Then of course, there was Seinfeld. It launched Courtney Cox, Teri Hatcher, Bryan Cranston, the woman from Law & Order SVU, Debra Messing, and Megan Mullally to name a few.

Roseanne had both Leonardo Di Caprio and Josep Gordon Levitt (before 3rd Rock From the Sun) on it. LDC big break clearly came from Gilbert Grape/This Boys Life/ Basketball Diares, while JGL clearly came from 3rd Rock, but a show as popular as Roseanne gave them the exposure to big Producers imo.

DiCaprio had a bit, uncredited role on Roseanne. I think his bigger break was on Growing Pains.

Seinfeld helped accelerate the career of Bryan Cranston.

I'm seldom able to catch originals of the Big Bang Theory; I catch them ON Demand. I just saw the one where Howard's mother died. Of course, the unseen actress who portrayed her did die. I'll watch to see how they handle it from here on out.

So, Will Forte (lately of SNL) will star in a new Fox series "The Last Man on Earth" (yes, he is the last) starting March 1. Can you say early cancellation?

It's Fox, they will cancel it after the first episode. Even if it turns out decent/good it still will be canceled. At least Gotham looks like it will last for another season. And, I think there is speculation Sleepy Hollow won't (don't watch the show, so I don't know if it is any good or not).

I did not know who Brian Cranston was till I saw him in Argo. His performance stood out to me so I looked him up and saw he was on breaking bad.

That is when I started to watch breaking bad.

I'm beginning to loathe Neil Patrick Harris. He's overrated, overexposed, and if he wasn't as queer as Anderson Cooper's per gerbil, he never would have gotten away with the Barney character on "How I Met Your Mother."

Talk about a double standard. If a straight guy played that character, every woman's group in America would have boycotted that show for its misogyny, and it wouldn't have made it through the first season. But because Harris is so fashionably gay and revered out in Hollyweird, he has a lifetime gig as the host of his choice of awards shows.

And as an aside, the Oscars become a bigger joke every year.

So "Birdman" sweeps Best Picture and Best Director. But they couldn't give the Best Actor to Michael Keaton, who MADE the film, and has been toiling in Hollywood for forty years, so they could give it to a practically unknown kid because he played Stephen Hawking. Now God bless Stephen Hawking. But this is why the Oscars suck. The show is nothing but three hours of politically correct garbage.

Personally i'm happy that Birdman won Best Director, since even though the continuous shot has been overdone it's still among the most difficult things to do in Cinema. still Best Picture should have went to Boyhood, producers are usually seen in a bad light in Hollywood, yet the ones involved here stuck with Linklater throughout; people need to remember that he started this shortly before School of Rock and that the worst acting (Boy) was inevitable since he had to stick with him from day 1.

Glad to see Simmons win who imo produced the best performance of the year, even though i still picture his rapist role in OZ. Julliane Moore is one of my favourite Actresses but i hated her winning for an Oscar Bait role like this.

Also agreed PB, Keaton should have took Best Actor. I disliked Theory of Everything yet thought Redmayne was excellent, still Keaton was the best of the nominees, The biggest snub in my mind was Josh Brolin for Inherent Vice, i'd have him second or third behind Simmons as the best of the year.
