I read Leonetti's book. His uncle had this one guy driving back & forth from South Jersey to Newark or New York multiple times a day just to setup meetings or pass messages along.

I think that's because they've adapted a bit and pulled it in a notch, especially with the violence.

You always assume that someone is listening. If you and one other guy are in an open field in Omaha at 3 in the morning,you still speak as little as possible,using nuances in speech and subtle gestures to get your point across.

Well, first of all, they're not what they used to be. No matter what some folks would like to believe. There are rats living wide open in cities like New York and Miami today.

That said, they're still dangerous. And even if it got to the point where they only kill, say, one guy every few years. Who wants to be that one guy?
