You can order it online but it has to be sent to a FFL holder in your state where the sale will be recorded and the normal transfer of ownership paperwork is filed along with any backround check. You just can't order a gun on the net and have it sent to you unless you have a FFL (Federal Firearms License) at least as far as i know.

Some states do allow a person to person private sale without the usual paperwork but both the seller and buyer have to be residents of that state. Here in NJ everything has to go through a FFL holder.

Are you saying America is responsible for messing up the world??? Seems to me that Germany really fucked up the world back in 1942 and it took America to come in to save it at the cost of American lives. You got a lot of balls coming on an American blog and blaming us for messing up your world.

De Niro please learn our laws before you try and bash us. Made you look very very ignorant in that comment. Giancarlo hit it on the head. Bigboy said more than enough too.

Yea bigboy my best friends Kimber was around 1200-1400 but I forget for sure what the price was. It was a .45 chambered 1911 is all I remember and it was sweet. He had a Colt 1911 too that wasn't bad but I don't like the heel safeties on them.

Fixing to put some rubber grips on my Sig and see how they hold up. Going to get some Hogue grips and see how they shoot with the finger grips. I love how it shoots though.

My Godfather bought a .50 cal Desert Eagle not too long ago. Can't wait to play with it! Box of shells were over $35 and are pretty hard to find in these parts. Oddly enough he only gave $600 for it but I hear the previous owner didn't take good care of it.

I still want to original Colt 1911's like the A.E.F. carried in WWI.

Don't blame DE NIRO for what Germany did in WWII. He's really a Brit re-located to Germany. Maybe he's just mad that we kicked King George III on his ass back in 1775. tongue

The attack on Pearl Harbor made America join the WW2. America did not join just to save our ass. That´s just ridiculous to say. Hitler was defeated by a joint American/European effort and it was actually the Russians who broke through the last barriers around Berlin. All of the countries invovled with the second World War lost a lot of lives. More than you Americans can fathom. And De Niro is right...the world is messed up. That´s thanks to all war profiters...on both sides.

I had a couple Colt 1911's over the years. Pretty decent guns.

After the Terminator came out those longslide 45's were pretty popular...but i never had one.

My buddy and i had those Desert Eagles when they first came out except the ones we had were the .44's not the .50 cal. It was a little too big for me....definitely not a piece to carry around. But it was pretty cool to shoot.

I didn't know those Kimbers are made in NY...the company is based in Yonkers. Never knew that...i thought NY chased out all the gun manufacturers. They're supposed to be really nice guns.

But my go to gun is still my .357 revolver. Out of all the pistols i've owned over the years that is still my favorite. IMO the .357 magnum is the perfect handgun round for self defense. cool And being a revolver i can count on it going bang when i pull the trigger.

Dixie, if the previous owner didn't take good care of a .50 handgun, I'd stay about a mile away from it.

I have a Colt 1911 Combat Commander from the Eighties. Most accurate centerfire handgun I own. Only problem is that it's finicky about firing reloads--doesn't like copper-coated bullets. 1911 is the best military sidearm ever made.

i agree in principal, but just browsing through random gun forums over the years i find that's hardly the case. the thing is with any .50 cal handgun, be it a .50A/E or a .500S&W mag is that alot of the folks who buy them have no idea what they're gettting themselves into, and put a very low round count through them before deciding that they would be better served with something else. other than large predator defense, there is really little need for a handgun over .357/10mm imo!

I was on the Centerfire site last night, they're selling 30 round commie AK mags for $6.99 but they won't ship to NJ.

Anyway i took a look around the site and it looks like for $599 you can get one of their Yugo AK's. I read on a gun forum that they're actually made here in the USA by Century Arms so check around and see what kind of feedback Century Arms have. Some people seem to bad mouth Century Arms but their AK's seem to be pretty well liked....but check around for yourself before you buy anything from them.

Well, when I was originally issued my permit, Mario Biaggi hadn't been disgraced yet wink lol.

There was a poster here...Father&Son (?) i think he went by and i think i remember him saying he had a permit to carry in NYC too. Or maybe it was a state permit...i'm not sure how that works in NY.

I was going to apply here in NJ for a carry permit but i never did. I really don't have a legit reason to get one and was told you have to have one. A guy i know owns check cashing places here in NJ and in Philly and he has a permit to carry in both PA and NJ. He told me it was a pain in the ass to get the one in NJ.

It really is, i was only able to get mine cause of family in local law enforcement. If your not private security its next to impossible to get one.

I read alot of states reciprocate with the carry permits. Like alot of guys in PA would apply in Florida because PA and Florida reciprocated and its supposed to be much easier to get the permit in florida. There was a big stink over it last year...i remember reading about it in the local papers. I'm not sure if NJ recognises any other state concealed carry permits though...but they may.

while there are a number of states that recognizes NJ's carrying permits-Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Vermont.

However, New Jersey does not recognize any out of state concealed carry permits.

It figures NJ wouldn't. Thanks Del.
