I had a deposition in a law office on the Boulevard of the Allies near Grant Street at 4 pm. I then met a friend for dinner at Jerome Bettis' restaurant before we went to see the Pirates. I left the game in the 7th inning to get home before 2 am.

I may be going to Pittsburgh again in early November for the Notre Dame/Pitt game with some friends. Myson, who is attending college in western PA will also be at the game as a friend of his at Pitt got him tickets. I'll see them at the game and will then meet my son Sunday morning for brunch and then to see the Steelers/Bills game at Heinz Field. My oldest son is farther away and can't make the trip due to his schedule.

Cool Kly. Will you make it to Primati's next time? Don't forget to ride the incline.

I can live with french fries on my sandwich, but I draw the line at cole slaw. I may go to the O. I used to take the kids on the incline when they were younger. I just may do that again. I haven't ridden the incline in years. It's a great waty to view the three rivers.

My father was born on Friday 13th and always claimed that this was the reason for a lifetime of bad luck. He had me as a son and heir ,so I don't know what he was going on about!!!!

Klydon, cole slaw- if it is made right is great on sandwiches and burgers- even hot dogs. Pgh is a great city and the people are just like the people in Buffalo- very down to earth

I love Pittsbugh and the people of western PA are top notch. In 1999 my father was having cancer surgery at the Cleveland clinic. I had some business in Pittsburgh that Friday and casually mentioned to my opposing counsel that I was heading to Cleveland to see my mom and dad for the weekend. When I got to Cleveland that night, I called my office voice mail and I had six messages from Pittsburgh attorneys, some of whom I didn't know that well, wishing me well and offering anything they could do while I was out there. I didn't expect that at all.

But cole slaw is not for me due to my aversion to mayonnaise. I like shredded cabbage and carrot on a lot of sandwiches, but once mayo enters the picture, it's a dealbreaker.

My brother and his son drove from the Scranton area to Pittsburgh to catch the Saturday and Sunday games, and I unfortunately missed them. They have tickets for Friday , which they can't use. Unfortunately, I'm tied up and my son's schedule doesn't allow him to make it either.

I don't mind Cole Slaw, but not IN a sandwich

I love coleslaw on a hot dog Yum!!

In the Philly / South Jersey area there is a chain called Primo Hoagies. They are quite good too. One of there hoagies is called a Schwartzie; Roast Beef or Turkey or Corned Beef with swiss cheese, russian dressing and COLE SLAW. Very tasty.

Here in the land of the rainy cloud we are lovers also of coleslaw..but as you can see we spell it as one word. Another strange and endearing difference between our shared language

It was refreshing to hear Pope Francis say that the Church is too obsessed with issues of homosexuality, contraception and abortion, and priests and the Church hierarchy should return to the core pastoral mission, rather than continue acting as bureaucrats and government officials (Maybe the poor guy had been subjected to these obsessions on the BB).

If I remember correctly, the Philly trip was around August of 2006. While I had just joined the boards that spring, I planned to drop by after being invited. I think I missed it due to a conflict with my kids' sports schedules. They were 13, 11 and 8 at the time. It feels almost like a lifetime ago when I look at it like that.

That's the weekend I got to meet TIS.

This was a few years ago. I can't remember the hotel we stayed at but we were not far from the Liberty Bell, we went to the famous Philly Cheesecake place and we spent an evening (or two) in I believe an Irish type pub that was down the street. Somebody else might remember the name, I just can't recall. It was lots of fun tho.

I had to look it up in my photo album but we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. Becky got us a good rate cause at the time she worked for the chain. I liked that pub we went to but we also went to the Moshulu ship for drinks before dinner remember?

Oh yea!! How could I forget the Moshulu. That was fun!!!

Had to look that one up to that was 7 years ago. It was the Independence Brew Pub.
