This plac has been open for about a year and it is impossible to get a reservation. Its located in Lincoln Center. Two weeks ago I was in NY and we went there for dinner. It is without question the most overpriced, overrated restaurant I have ever endured. Poor service, and awful food. To make it worse it is Italian food. I can think of a million neighborhood places both in Fla and NY that are far superior.

Not only does the food suck, they go out of their way to ruin traditional dishes. My linguine with white clam sauce not only had nary a clam shell in it, but it was topped with some kind of god-awful bread crumbs, and I mean a lot of them, and it had roasted green peppers (whole) in it. What in God's name are they thinking?

The irony is that if you go a block west, to Ninth Avenue, you'll be in one of NYC's best neighborhoods for excellent, reasonably priced restaurants.

I remember when I was a little girl and my parents took me to Lincoln Center, we would always go to O'Neal's Balloon after the performance and my dad would be me a hot dog. The place was famous. Not sure when it closed, but it's been years. It was supposed to be O'Neal's Saloon, but that wasn't allowed during Prohibition!

I remember that place! Now there are a slew of upscale places across the street (all of them better than The Lincoln!

Nick and Toni's isn't bad for an Italian-Mediterranean-American fusion-Chop House type of place. For the area it's not that overpriced. But if I wasn't going to Lincoln Center for the evening, I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there. It's on 67th, just off Columbus.
