I remember watching one of the episodes last night when i was completely trashed and thinking this was significant to post about lol. The episode where he and Ade just about get it on.

At the start of the episode Meadow is at Ade's club with her friends and when she bumps into Tony he seems to be wiping his nose alot, at least 3 times i cottoned onto him checking his nose. Was this implying that he had been doing coke or was i looking into it too much. Seemed strange as other than the toke from Janice's joint and the peyote, i can't think of any other time Tony did drugs other than his meds.

I know later in the episode Adriana shares a line with him and the planned trip for them to pick some up.

Yes, I believe he had been doing coke.

I think it was suppose to highlight the contradictory nature of Tony. He was always quick to judge and criticize people for their weaknesses/problems, but didn't like to admit his own.

Like when Tony had that big gambling problem. Most of the people around him saw that it was getting out of hand, but Tony refused to do so. In Tony's eyes Christopher's drug addiction was just him being weak minded, while his gambling addiction wasn't a big deal. He didn't like showing any weakness. He was a pretty insecure person. Like when Junior would always bring up how Tony was a bad athlete when he was younger. That would always enrage Tony. He could dish it out, but couldn't take it. He didn't like showing weakness/vulnerability.

Anyway, that's my take on it.

Haha yeah your definitley right, whilst Christopher was seen as weak and thus a liability, although i guess on the scheme of things Chrissy was much worse with the H.

Was just something that caught my eye as you never really seen much drug use from Tony during the seasons.

Damn Ade looked hot in that episode. Sometimes Adriana can just look average then next she can look pretty amazing, that episode was one of them.

Thing is though Tony didnt have a coke problem, he was just having a little fun and maybe trying to get a piece of ass. My favorite quote is when Tony and Junior are talking and junior says you couldve been a great baseball player, tony say i bat .260, junior "thats cause you didn't want it, chasin skirt you bat .500" dont get no better than that.

A lot of mob guys did coke. It just wasn’t talked about.
