Mukremin, It's a great chart, but the the guy in the picture of Mario Cassarino is wrong, its the guy next to him (left side of photo) that is him. The person you have is soldier Jerome Brancato. Cassarino has dark hair and is taller. Another thing, Tony Anastasio is still alive, not dead like you put. His father was Anthony "Tough Tony" Anastasia. If you can fix it that'll be great.

I agree that you should use another source for your link.

Junior Gotti was only the acting boss too, and that was after Nick Corrozzo was acting boss. Nick became acting when Gotti went to prison in 1993 until he went to jail 1995. Then Junior became acting boss until around 1999 when Peter Gotti became the actual boss.

I noticed you don't have Carmon Bonanno on your list. He is the grandson of Joe and now wears the ring.

The charts look amazing Mukrenim. Very good job indeed. smile You definitely made you're bones and should be made a member of the real deal forum.

By the way, just wondering, from which sources did you get you're information? And what program did you use to make these charts?

Thank you Sonny, i used all my free time to make these charts smile
Glad to be part of this wonderful community, i had a dream you know. To make such charts, and finally did it. Credits go to NJBoy55 also, he helped me to find pictures.

My sources are mainly the forums here and other forums, wikipedia (not reliable), and just google it.
I use Edraw Org Chart maker, its highly efficient to make charts.

Check the first page, i also listed high res JPG files of each chart. So now you have option to download pdf and jpg
Enjoy!!

(i plan to update the charts each month, otherweise it would be hard to edit daily. So the updates will take place in december).

The numbers behind the soldiers. I suppose those are their birth years? Or their age?

And about the Philly mob. Do they really only have 20-30 members left? I thought they always maintained around 50 members.

They still have about 50 made members total. But only about half of them are active on the street. The rest are inactive or in prison.

yes i didnt count the members behind bars, and the soldiers lists, i am not sure whos in whos out. The new york families are much more easier to make, plenty of info and pictures. Smaller families dont have much information.

mukremin in the patriarca family eddie lato is definitely a capo in the providence faction. From all i have read he is prob the second biggest player in providence behind deluca. Also i see digiacamo and ferrara from the boston faction r listed as soldiers. Since they were capos in the 1980"s before going 2 the can wouldnt they automaticallly become capos once they were realsed?? i am not sure how that works it just seems logical. thanks

Correct me if i am wrong, people who are released from prison dont get automaticly their old position back right? experts on this?

Mukremin, you are the third guy I met from the Netherlands that's into American Mafia stuff. You Dutch people really are into it. I'm from the town of Paterson, NJ and I guess you can say i grew up in a tough Italian neighborhood, so that's what got me into learning as much I can about the history and current status on LCN. I'm also a third generation Sicilian.

I really love your charts and was glad I was of some help. I'll keep sending you pics of capos and soldiers for you to update. Above the pic you have of Joe Isgro of L.A. you put L.A. soldiers, which you should take off the S on the end 'cause he's the only soldier there. He is a Hollywood film producer.

You also have the Gambino soldiers in pics on the list you have of current soldiers and soldiers in prison. So, I would delete those ones 'cause you have them already above. You don't need their names mentioned twice.

Thanks man, i really appreciate your help. I must say, in my area there are not so many people interested. They think everything criminal is mafia, but the real mafia is the cosa nostra italian groups. Ive always liked to meet people who are real in the middle of things.

And yes, there still are some things to be edited in the charts. I will look into them very soon, i dont want to slow it down because after so much work i need to put this thing to higher ground. Thanks you guys for all the support.

I was wondering, should i put the charts for download on the realdeal forum to? any suggestions? i want to deliver them to as much as people who are interested in the current status of the mafia.

If you're already a member you should definitely put the charts on the real deal forum. That's the place to be for this kind of things. And you can also get a lot of good feedback there.

Yeah, you put it in the right section. Either there, or the main board (badabing) is good. No, I don't use "carmela" on there, but I'm like the only girl posting.
Stick with me, you'll have everybody hating you by the end of the week..maybe sooner. rawr.

You do a good job on the charts, no worries. wink

Yep. The five New York families, as well as smaller families in New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Chicago, and maybe Detroit.

That's it.

I'm new here, and I'm from Chicago. What I know about the Chicago Outfit today is that it's believed to be around 100 (or slightly less) made men. Current prominent members and/or crew bosses are believed to be Rudy Fratto (headed to prison for 1 yr for a tax charge); Pete DiFronzo; Michael Sarno (on trial right now -- sometimes listed as a soldier, sometimes listed as a boss now); Joe Andriacchi; John Matassa,Jr; Joe Cullotta; Frank Caruso, Sr; Marco D'Amico. Boss is said to remain as John DiFronzo, with Joe Andriacchi as his underboss, Joe Lombardo (imprisoned, probably will die in prison) as consigliere (but acting consigliere was said to be Al Tornabene most recently).

Not so much on this board, but on others, there have been many heated debates about the Outfit - it's current size, strength, hierarchy, etc.

As far as it's size goes, even the official estimates vary. The average seems to be around 50 members. Recent defector Nick Calabrese supposedly identified about 60 made members of the Chicago mob, which is believable in my opinion. Far less so is the idea that they still have anywhere near 100 members.

From a number of recent sources, John DiFronzo remains the over all boss of the Outfit. Joseph Andriacchi is underboss but also is essentially street boss over the family's 4 remaining crews. Marco D'Amico has been said to have taken over as consigliere for the late Al Tornabene.

The 4 crews - Peter DiFronzo runs the Elmwood Park crew; which theoretically consists of that area, Rush Street, the rest of the North Side, and the Northern Suburbs stretching into Lake County. DiFronzo's immediate subordinates, often referred to as "street bosses," are said to be Mike Magnaficchi, Don Scalise, and Rudy Fratto.

Joe Cullotta runs the Grand Avenue crew; which theoretically consists of the area surrounding Grand and Ogden Avenues, the rest of the West Side, and the Western Suburbs stretching into DuPage County. Cullotta's immediate subordinate is said to be Chris Spina.

John Matassa run the Cicero (also called Melrose Park) crew. His immediate subordinates are said to be Mike Sarno, James Inendino, Mike Spano, and Salvatore DeLaurentis.

And Frank Caruso Jr. runs the 26th Street (also called Chinatown) crew; which theoretically consists of that area, the rest of the South Side and Chicago Heights, the Southern Suburbs stretching into Will County, and North West Indiana. Caruso's immediate subordinates are said to be Leo Caruso and Bruno Caruso.

But what is the exact reason why they now have so few members left compared to back in the days. I've read somewhere they decided to have less made members and more associates so they have more control over the organization. Is this the main reason?
