1. Flashback scenes featuring major characters (1935?).
2. Major characters children.
3. Deleted scenes never aired...(Michael's revenge on Fabrizio)

Well i don't see how Mike would want us to see how he got revenge on Fabrizio.

They should release a new DVD of the trilogy while the film is in the cinemas.

And they would restore the deleted scenes and put them back into the DVD's.

The revenge in Part II seems more fitting than seeing Mike kill Fabrizio himself.

Could it be 4 ideas?

1.Flashback scenes will be during the end of prohibition and during the end of the 70's.
2.The actual time frame would pick up right from Mary's death to Vincents death, with some major skips in some unimportant years.
3.Francis Ford would stop being cheap and actually hires Duvall and uses him some how (Maybe how he died) kinda Mike thinking of Tom.
4.Vincent Mancini meets Grace Hamilton again and he lures her into the underworld.

1) Sonny's real sons coming after Vincent
2) De Niro playing Vito again, and dealing with his sons in their teenage years
3) The death of Kay Adams - violently.

How many "real" ons did he have? I thought he mostly had daughters.

De Niro is too old to play Vito raising teenagers. It would be like Meet the Fockers.


What is your beef with Kay? And isn't Diane Keaton a bit long in the tooth to reprise this role?

I think we can all agree that if flash back scenes are included, a major casting call would be needed to recast the classic characters. There are some young talented unknowns and knowns out there that can be included with the big name returns. Remember, De Niro was just starting out when he got the role of young Vito in GF2 - he nailed that part and history was made.

My beef with Kay is that she annoyed me in part III

Sonny has two sons, Frank and Santino JR. Frank is seen in part 1 wishing his grandad well. I think it'd be good to show his resentment that 'the bastard' is now the don, and theoretically, as the eldest male heir, he feels he should be the don.

De Niro would be a good age to portray the don in the five years before the first film.
