I agree that Roger is full of all sorts of crap. However, I heard the sportscaster on CBS Radio this morning calling him a liar, and comparing his lies to OJ's. Yeah, because allegedly taking steroids is the same as virtually beheading your ex-wife and slaughtering the man who was dropping off her eyeglasses.

If I've learned anything in the past four years that I've been following baseball, it's to not dedicate so much trust, faith, and loyalty to the players, because things that turn out like this end up showing me how little it all meant. I only watched part of his interview on 60 Minutes, but what I did see actually made me feel betrayed and hurt, and now I'm left wondering why I let myself get so attached in the first place. It's supposed to be innocent until proven guilty, but my heart and my gut instinct are giving me a bad feeling.

You're too young to be so cynical and maybe I'm too old to be less cynical, but you're right. Dunno who/what to blame for this and am gradually coming to the point of not caring anymore.

That said, I don't trust or believe Clemens.

Paul told me several times in the past he's always suspected Clemens of taking steroids. It seems he knew more about sports than any of us knew.

I love how Rog said he doesn't give a rat's ass about the hall of fame at his press conference yesterday. All the voters should do as he wishes and keep their votes to themselves.

I may be a little late, but count me among those who found Clemens to be untruthful in the interview. His incessant blinking while speaking was an indicator, and he hurt himself by saying all he had done for McNamee, which just showed a lack of motivation for the trainer to lie.

It appears that McNamee gave a ton of information to Mitchell (not just about Clemens). He was seemingly accurate throughout, which makes one wonder why he would fabricate a story about Clemens, and provide the most details about it. He was specific re: occasions and conversations.

I am currently watching the darts on TV.
