No this is not about that slob next to you slurping a gigantic soda and ruining your cinema experience, it is a follow up to a previous thread I did about "Eating in the movies."
It seems in the movies people drink an awfully large amount of alcohol. Whenever two people meet one or the other offers a drink, and they go for the hard stuff (except in chick flicks where it is a rule that only wine is drunk).
The thing is no matter how much they drink no one ever gets wasted.

In 11 years no one was ever drunk. Well, until the final show aired and the cast was drunk on Jay Leno's show. It seems they watched it from the real Cheers, all the while drinking. The whole thing was broadcast via satellite on The Tonight Show.
