-=Spoilers Ahead-=

...that it had to end. Holy crap. What an amazing book, I honestly was heart broken and nearly cried when reading towards the end when Guiliano was waiting to rendezvous to escape to America and Aspanu came and Turi put his gun down and held his hand out to greet his friend and was gunned down. Man..just an wonderful story.

Was SO very satisfied with Adonis leaving the "Death To Those Who Betray Guiliano" note on Aspanu's poisoned corpse though!

I think it was Puzo's most moving book, if not his best.

The Sicilian is a great novel but the movie was so bad...

"Pain has no tendency, in its own right, to proliferate. When it is over, it is over, and the natural sequel is joy."
- C. S. Lewis

"Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh"
- George Bernard Shaw
