Regarding Carm, I was hoping Meadow would put her in her place some more. Maybe that's coming in season 5. She's had no problem living in a multi million dollar house, driving the top cars, wearing the best clothes, and eating the best food, all due to a business based on lying, cheating, and hurting people. Suddenly she realizes she's been hurt all these years and throws Tony out??? If so, then she should get rid of all of her material possessions and move out as well because all of that was based on lying, cheating, and stealing as well. She can't have it both ways. Where does she think the money for all of that comes from? People get hurt for it. Two marriages of people they know were affected by Tony's dealings (obviously with considerable help from the husbands but the sopranos did benefit from their troubles), yet does Carm give that up?
Tony could really stick it to her. He could suddenly say: "Hey, I'm only a waste management consultant. I make $75,000 a year. Economy's bad. We'll have to sell the house and split that. I'll give you a cut of the $75K". On paper, Tony doesn't make a fraction of what he really earns. Maybe Tony says, "the hell with it. She wants to be the saint, she can get her dollars the honest way".
Maybe in season 5 when the well dries up, Carmella snaps out of it and realizes she's got it good. She had her Lifetime TV moment, now she'll get back into the real world and not want to give up the good life.
remember, if she tries to sue Tony, she can only go after what's on paper. I don't know what the alimony laws are like in NJ, whether she's entitled to half or whatever.
