Crow, Gandolfini Added to MTV Awards Roster

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - A week after performing on CBS' "Big Brother 3," Sheryl Crow will turn up on TV again at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Rapper Ja Rule has also been added to the lineup of performers, as have the Hives and the Vines, providing the show's audience with a chance to tell the two apart. They join a roster that also includes Ashanti, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Eminem and Pink.

Crow will do a mini-concert on "BB3" Wednesday (Aug. 21) for the remaining houseguests before heading across the country for the VMAs.

The show has also signed up several more presenters, including "Sopranos" star James Gandolfini, Kirsten Dunst ("Spider-Man" ), Brandy, Usher and Brittany Murphy ("Don't Say a Word" ).

The Video Music Awards are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 29 at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Jimmy Fallon ("Saturday Night Live") is the host.
