He's way too tall for Luca, who was rather stout in GF. Although, Garret did manage to pull off playing Jackie Gleason, who was of a similar build. It all depends on whether the director wants him enough to go out of his way to create the effect of a shorter man. I've seen him on Raymond, and he seems to overact a bit. Interesting idea though...

I think either Chazz Palminteri or Steve S(dont know how to spell it) from the Sopranos would be a good choise, but I really want Imperiolli to play Mike, and there shouldnt be more than one Soprano's guy in GF4.

I just can't see Chaz P. playing a young Luca.

Let's just hope they don't go the way of Hollywood today and cast a professional wrestler to play him, a la Ajax in that horrible film Troy. Ugh.
