Hey all. My cousin (a mondo Star Wars fan) was telling me how the Star Wars franchise has a myriad of books and comincs that delve further into its universe. I was thinking how cool it would be if The Godfather adopted such an operation. Think of all the types of books they could have. They could have a "Making Their Bones" series and explain how guys like Joey Zasa, Willy Cicci, and Frankie Pentangeli made their bones. They could have filler books. A filler book is my term for a book that comes in between two of the movies to explain what happened in there. Star Wars has Shadows of the Empire between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, Godfather could have a book between Parts II and III. Granted we'd have to get different authors, but think of how many authors contribute to the Star Wars expanded universe and have yet to bastardize its name. Just a thought :rolleyes:
