Ok, I think that the idea of a Godfather IV would completely ruin the wovent story of the godfather. I think that it would be more of a joke than a contribution

It could go either way. It could be really great or stink, but since the movie will probably never be made there is no way to tell.

I agree it could go either way, but considering the fact that at least the first two were exceptional, that maybe they can do it a third time. Maybe wishful thinking, I don't know, but I'd love to see a "Good" GF4.

For me if it was almost to par with the first or second one it would be cool. I think it would be neat if they could do more in depth focus on some stuff in the novel like a movie with the Fontane saga and some stuff involving the Italian roots more.

A proper script, casr and director and I am sure GF IV can be created, risky but but not impossible, hehehe

I agree with you Michael Barzini. I would love to see more of the Italian roots footage, traditions, beliefs, etc., not to mention more of how Vito got to where he was). I guess that's why I found GF2 interesting especially with the DeNiro portions of the movie. I could even understand a few Italian words here and there!!

I found a NEW Best friend .

I think that the Fontane/Deanna/Nino/Fredo/Moe/Jules/Lucy/Woltz/Las vegas sectiosn of the book could make for a grea Lifetime movie! Made for TV.

As for the 1930's ! Of course, DeNiro won't be able to play the role ten years from now, so they'd better hurry!

GF3 COULD have been at par with the first two but it was PLAGUED with problems. Money/FFC and other problems ruined Gf3!

Puzo had a great script that w all would ahve loved that WAS par to the first two. But FFC changed everythe cut twenty pages from the script. They couldn't afford to film the 1930's!

GF4 could be GREAT if the right choices are made!

Puzo's scripy is great and should NOT be changed!

FFC could definitley DIRECT a great movie, but he shouldn't be involved in WRITING the script in this one. Puzo's daughter, Carol Gino, etc. could be called in for re-writes, FFC is a GREAT Director, but he only got huis fame as a writer by making a FEW Re-writes to Puzo's Scripts.

If you're dissaitisfied with GF3's story, blame FFC! If you're dissatisfied with Sophia COppola, oh well, that wasn't really anyone's fault! I thought she was GREAT! If you're dissatisifed with the Vincent Mancini charcter blame FFC! Any other problems, dpeneding on what they are you COULD blame FFC/Paramount....but NOT puzo!

Yea the saga about the Casino expansion would be pretty interesting. And I agree if anyone blames Puzo they should "sleep with the fishes".

balzac taken DIRECTLY from The Godfather.

Casino Expansion led to Casino Extinction.

I believe Vincent mancini will get jailed in the FAmous Commission Case. And Vincent
Man(Gotti)cini Junior will take over and get jailed for possesion of a firearm!
