1927-1944 opening scene could be-Vito and Carmella's 15th weddinganniversary, Sonny's 10th Birthday, Johnny Fontane's confirmation etc.
1960-1978- coule be Kathryn (Twin) Corleone's wedding, Vince Manicni's confirmation, or something else,
1968 could be Anthony's graduation, Andrew Hagen ordaine, Hagen's funeral, Victor Rizzi is released from prison
1980-Mary's funeral, Anthony's next opera, Dom and Grace's wedding, Calo's funeral, anything.
1997- Mike's funeral, Johnny's funeral (Sinatra died in 1998) Frank Hagen's inauguration as Governor f Colorado (LOL) COULD happen, All the Hagen kids could be legitimaite (Frank starts lawyer, moves upto Mayor, then governor)
1887-Paolo Born!
1892-Vito's born!
1958- SHould ahve eebn Clemenza's funeral!

Just a suggestion. i dont think michael would have a funeral somehow considering he died on his own and most likely had no friends?

Vince, Dom and Grace Abbandando, Anthony, B.J., Neri, Connie, Andrew Hagen, and others were at funeral.

Yes, I think it is a good idea to show more of "Vito Corleone's" younger years, when the children are little. We saw him as a young man and an older man. Or how about somewhere in mid-life, so we would see how he evolved into the man he became. Maybe DeNiro could play him again.  He's middle aged now??? How about it? And since his wife did not have a major part, it wouldn't be too hard, I don't think to find an actress to play her. We could see Sonny, Mike, Fredo, Connie, maybe as teenagers or something. Damn, I think that sounds good.  Now you guys can "tear my idea apart." :p By the way, I just joined, but is there really a possibility of #4??? I guess I just don't want the saga to end, and yet, don't want to mess with perfection. Give me your thoughts. ok. annt

Got to love Joe Mantegna. He could play a young Sollozzo, Paulie Gatto,or even a young Bruno Tattaglia. Don't forget about Sonny's OTHER illegitimate kid  He might POP up in GF4. Anyway, there is less than a 10% chance that there will ever be a GF4. Check JGeoff's site! Actors, crew, directors, Paramount, etc. were disappointd with GF3. Most of the remaining charcters from GF3 were killed off. The only ones remaining were Andew Hagen, Vincent, Anthony, Kay, Connie, Neri, B.J., Dom, Grace, Donkey Boy, and some of Vincent's Button men. Mike and Kay COULD return but I don't think it would be necessary. GF4 would most likely revolve around Vinny Mancini. I guess the OTHER Corleone/Hagen/Rizzi children could FINALLY return. Our belove writer Mario Puzo died in 1999. Before he died he DID write ascrit for GF4, taking gplace in the 80's and 30's.

I'm sorry, but a part 4 without Puzo, it's inconceivable for me. There is one trilogy, and that's it. If a part four is done, i'll go see it, sure, but i will be very septic. ( excuse my english, i'm french... )

It wouldn't be without Puzo if it's WRITTEN by Puzo. The GF4 script is unavailable to the public until after the rlase of GF4 which will likely never happen, better to wish for an Omerta, Family, or Last Don 3, at least they're likely possibilities
