Ok guys, i know you didn't like the way i portrayed some of my ideas before. Buti think yuo'll be intrigued by my 1960's plot. It's ALL my ideas. I used ray Patriarca of Boston, Carlos Marcello of New Orleans, and others as characters. I was wondering if you guys think it would be better to leav ethem under their REAl NAMES or to change them like Paul Vario to Paul CIcero in goodfellas. I'm leaving the Kennedy's, Capones, Nitti, and Castro's real name in their, but i the characters named before are loosely based on the real people. ANd plus i don't want to get sued for saying somebody did something when they really didn't you know what i mean?

Or should i change the names at the ned?

Basically, my 60's takes off at Kathryn Corleone's wedding in 1962. After the wedding, Michael Corleone is shot at while driving to the airport with fidel Castro. He sets out find out who ordered the hit and why. He find soutt he same men after him, are after Castro, adn president Kennedy himself as well. He has Corleone Button work undercover as a rival Button. Mike plots to take out all who are against him. But in the end his past history will come back to haunt him when a Family Vendetta leaves him forced to go legit. The most brutal slaying of a Corleone yet! The story ends in 1970 when Mike leaves the Mafia.

Our old favorites Mike, Connie, Vincent, Neri, Anthony, Tom, and Altobello are here, as well as new rivals and new allies after the death of Don Pentangelli in New York!

http://www.dreamwater.net/zglo/GF41.htm

Post-Gf2 starts page 21! I'm finishing upmy ending for the 60's by this weekend, so sit tight until i pot the ending this weekend! Enjoy the story!

Pages 19 and 25 don't seem to be updated despite the 5+plus uploads in the lst 2 minutes! Anyways when your done with them you can click next page, rather if the number menu isn't there. Around Page 26 the paragraph markers disappear, and the words are all one paragraph i'll fix that this weekeknd too.

NEVERMIND, I fixed it! I added page 33 the "ENDING", not the whole ending but to this particular part it is. I'll make paragraphs this weekend, let me know what you guys think, Thanx

funny i read this for the first time yesterday...i thought it was pretty damn good actually.....i didnt like the fact that michael was with FIDEL CASTRO though...when ya think CASTRO is like the leader of a country....and would have FAR too much security for something like the car hit in your story......but apart from that i really liked the rest.....HOPEFULLY you can write all the way upto the 90's where MIKE dies and so on

Thank you!

yes there are some flaws anything is subject to change by your guys opinions. There as a car in frotn of and behind Castro, Tramonti, and Corleone. They were all in the same car so they could talk about business they didn't want to talk about at the wedding in front of Neri Hagen etc. The assassins were finished off pretty quickly tho!

I just posted the end in 1970. I WILL write past that up util 2002 if i feel like it! Most likeley only to 1997 tho.

After I wrtie this story, i'll write a script!

Welcome back Knocc Out, don't forget those Log-in and display names are different i forgot that too

What do you think about me using the real names of real Dons and such? I like Castro! Him and Mike would be good. When i started the 60's i had big plans for Mike and Castro in Cuba. Richard Clemenza/Frank Corleone etc. Lots of gambling. Less drugs and prostitution. LOTS of murder, especially in Chicago and new York!

puzo wrote in Capone HIMSELF in the Novel

I'll change the names at the end.

I'll have to think up something for Castro. This sin't the Modern Super Castro we're used to seeing
this is a Castro in his second year in office after 20+years of Batista.

This was BEFORE kennedy, Bay of Pigs, and Cuban Missile Crisis!

I know what ya mean tho.

I was wondering about Vito and Capone too lol.

I'll change the names but keep the characters the same way. Scarface!

What did you think of the ending with Larry Pentangelli, Hagen dying, and the shootout at the compound?

Merle was under protection from Colletti. Siminni killed Colletti and took over. Siminni told neri where Merlewas. And Neri beat Merle to detah witha abt, i'm pretty sure it says that.

Anyway, guys, I'm writing aSCRIPT for the 1927-1944 era. I'll post it here. Let me know what you think!

FADE IN:

The Paramount Pictures logo is presented over a simple black
background, as a single trumpet plays the familiar theme of
a waltz. White lettering fades in:

Mario Puzo's THE GODFATHER

There is a pause, as the trumpet concludes, and there is the
additional title: - The Lost Years -

INT: VITO and his family stand on stairs by a courtyard.
CUT TO: The Corleone family greeting people on the steeps.
CUT TO: A train with the Corleone's on it. Everyone including the wheelchair bound Don TOMMASINO. VITO is holding MICHAEL's hand and waving good bye.
VITO
MICHAEL say good bye.
FADE INTO: Genco Pura Olive Oil Office - CLOSE VIEW ON VITO
CORLEONE - DAY

standing impassively, like a young Prince, recently crowned
King.

CLOSE VIEW ON VITO's hand. PETER CLEMENZA kisses his hand.
Then it is taken away. ZOOM OUT-We can SEE the front door and the sign of Genco Pura Olive Oil
We HEAR, over this, very faintly sounds of many people on the streets,
as THE VIEW MOVES SLOWLY CLOSER to DON VITO CORLEONE in his chair.

DISSOLVE TO:

EXT. A PARK LANDSCAPE - FULL VIEW โ€“ DAY August 1927

We see a banner hanging from two trees reading โ€œ15th Anniversary of Vito and Carmella Corleoneโ€.
We see 21 picnic tables in 5 rows of 4, and one extra table on the end, around this area. There are about 100 people gathered around the tables.
VITO and CARMELLA are sitting at the table on the end. Their eldest son SANTINO is seated next to them. Their other children FREDO, MICHAEL, and CONNIE are sitting on the opposite side of the table.

GENCO ABBANDANDO, his wife CARLA ABBANDANDO, and their two daughters are seated at a neighboring table. Also at this table are FRANCESCA ABBANDANDO, Vitoโ€™s aunt, and Gencoโ€™s mother. Her husband ORESTE ABBANDANDO is wheeling a cart over to Vitoโ€™s table. On the cart is a huge cake.

There are MUSICIANS playing a Tarantella throughout this time, but the Tarantella ends, and everyone is suddenly quiet.

ORESTE ABBANDANDO places the cake on the table in front of the CORLEONES.
VITO rises and hugs his uncle ORESTE.

VITO CORLEONE
Grazie.
ORESTE
(Sicilian) Iโ€™d do anything for my nephew.

ORESTE goes over to sit with his family. VITO rises and motions for everyone to be silent.

VITO CORLEONE
Thank you all for coming. Grazie. Grazie. You are welcome friends of my family and myself. If there is anything I can do for you, you come we talk, eh.

Many people including VITO and CARMELLA laugh.

VITO CORLEONE
We are gathered here today to celebrate 15 years of wonderful marriage between my lovely wife, Carmella and I. We have been blessed with 4 children. You all know my eldest son Santino; heโ€™s with me wherever I go. Stand up Santino. (SANTINO stands) Heโ€™s only 12 years old and I can already see the bright future of this first Corleone born in America. (VITO motions across the table) These are my other children Fredo, Michael, and my daughter Constanzia. I met Carmella at an Italian festival in 1911. It was as some say, love at first sight. (VITO laughs) However, for myself, it is love at every sight. There isnโ€™t a moment that goes by that I donโ€™t thank God for blessing me with such a wonderful family, and a beautiful wife, who is not only my love, but also my companion in life. (To CARMELLA) Hereโ€™s to another 15 years.

VITO and CARMELLA embrace as everyone taps their drinks together in a โ€œcheersโ€. Everyone laughs as CONNIE hugs FREDO; mocking her parents.

VITO CORLEONE
As you can see my family is full of love. (Laughter as VITO raises a drink to the air) Now everyone celebrate!

A loud cheer erupts but is drowned out by a new Tarantella starting up from the bandstand.

VITO CORLEONE
Sit tight Carmella, Iโ€™m going to go and mingle with my closest friends.
CARMELLA CORLEONE
(Sicilian) Ok, dear. I love you, Vitone. Iโ€™ll see you later.
VITO CORLEONE
(Sicilian) I love you too, Carme.

The two embrace again and Vito walks off-screen.

EXT. Bocce Court - MED. VIEW โ€“ DAY

VITO walks on-screen to join SALVATORE TESSIO, PETER CLEMENZA, and GENCO ABBANDANDO. VITO and GENCO team against TESSIO and CLEMENZA as the men converse.

TESSIO
(Sicilian) This is a great party youโ€™ve got here Vito.
VITO
Grazie. (Sicilian) It is a wonderful gathering if I do say so myself.

CLEMENZA returns to where the men are standing after grabbing a slice of watermelon.

CLEMENZA
(Sicilian)Where thereโ€™s food and women, Iโ€™ll be there!
VITO
(S) Same old Clemenza as before, eh? Iโ€™ve got business to discuss with the 3 of you later. Come see me in my office first thing tomorrow. Bring all of our partners as well.
CLEMENZA
(S) Weโ€™ll be there, Vito.
VITO
(S)Genco, thank your father for the delicious cake. It must have taken him all night to bake a cake like that.
GENCO
(S) Of course I will, cousin. Howโ€™s my nephew, Santino?
VITO
(S)He looks more and more like his father everyday. Iโ€™m raising him to be an American version of myself. He could be President one day!

We can faintly hear the men continue talking as we ZOOM out of them playing their game, and PAN over the large crowd to a table where 4 men are seated. HYMAN ROTHSTEIN and his brother SAM ROTHSTEIN are on one side of the table. MOE GREENE and JOHNNY OLA are on the other side. We perceive their voices in mid-conversation.

HYMAN ROTHSTEIN
(Hebrew) Will it really be a better living than I have here?
MOE GREENE
(H) Yeah, Iโ€™m sure it will. Iโ€™ve got this picture in my head. There are so many people. This little pit stop out in the desert will be a famous city, and weโ€™ll own it all!
SAM ROTHSTEIN
(H) (To Hyman) Johnny, what do you think? I told you these guys had a plan. What should we do?
HYMAN
(H)Well, Sam, it looks like weโ€™re moving to Nevada. (To MOE) So, where are we gonna stay in this deserted stretch of sand, a tent? (laughs)
GREENE
(H) Stop kidding around, Johnny. Iโ€™m serious, this is my dream, and it can come true very easily. There are very few laws in Nevada. We can get away with anything.
HYMAN
(H) Really? Okay, but like I said where are we gonna stay at?
MOE
(H) Weโ€™ll stay in Carson City, while theyโ€™re building the first two buildings. One Hotel, and one Casino. You go the Casino, you can gamble, and you can play whatever you want. Baccarat, Roulette, Rummy, Pinnacle, you name it. Thereโ€™ll be women, booze, tobacco, what more could you want? Important people from all over will come to stay there. Hollywood, San Francisco, New York. Local celebrities from Omaha, Denver, Phoenix, Dallas, itโ€™ll be great!
JOHNNY OLA
(H) Moe, donโ€™t forget about life away from the Casinos. There are NO taxes, a very lenient government, and the best part is that there arenโ€™t any pain-in-the-ass Yankees, everywhere you look. We can control our own society. We will be celebrities in our own right. Weโ€™ll be dining with the President of the United States!

HYMAN and Sam walk away to converse in private.

HYMAN
(H) What do you think, Sam?
SAM
(H) I think we should go for it.
HYMAN
(H) Then itโ€™s decided. Weโ€™ll move to Carson City with Moe and Ola.

They return to the table.

HYMAN
(H) Weโ€™re in.

The 4 men shake hands. ZOOM OUT and PAN across the bandstand where VITO is standing with AUGUSTINO COPPOLA. His son, CARMINE COPPOLA, is getting situated on stage with his flute.

AUGUSTINO COPPOLA
(S) Hey Boss, how are you doing? This party has been very entertaining so far. My son, Carmine, is going to play a solo for you on his flute.
VITO
My godson is going to play a solo for me. This might be the happiest Iโ€™ve been all day.

The MUSICIANS end their Tarantella, and leave the stage for a recess. CARMINE COPPOLA begins playing a slow tune on his flute. VITO seems to know the piece, and hums along while he watches from the front of a group of 5 or 6 people.

The flute continues as we dissolve to CORLEONE, SICILY in 1901. We see young VITO ANDOLINI, and his brother PAOLO ANDOLINI sitting outside their home on a sunny Sicilian day. Their father ANTONIO ANDOLINI is telling them about his meeting with DON FRANCESCO CICCIO the day before.

ANTONIO
(S) Don Ciccio, says that if I do not back up Mosca Donatone in court tomorrow I will pay severely. Ciccio is outraged because someone broke Omerta and went to thee authorities. I refuse to lie for a man like this. Heโ€™s a Mafioso, his nephew, Mosca, is a Mafioso. My sons, if anything should happen to me, I want you to forget it, pay no attention to the result and donโ€™t let it affect your lives. You will grow up to be respectable Sicilians; you will be better people than Don Ciccio and his Mafiosi. They live by the rules of Sicilia. They live by the Mafia. Iโ€™m as Sicilian as the next man, but there is no place in our society for framing an innocent man of murder, and letting the guilty party go free to kill again. His son, Strollo, is a Mafioso too, but murder is not the way to solve problems. We are Sicilians, we live by Vendetta, but there neednโ€™t be a Vendetta if there is no reason. Rather than think about defending themselves against Parliament theyโ€™re busy worrying about whom to kill next, itโ€™s not the life I want for you, my children. One day you will live in America. Itโ€™s the land of the free; in America, there is no Mafia to threaten us.

DISSOLVE back to BANDSTAND 1927. The piece ends and VITO goes on the stage to embrace his godson. FADE OUT of the park and over the neighboring area. DISSOLVE to night, ZOOM back in on PARK. It is late evening; the moon casts shadows of the tree branches on the ground, under the lights of the bandstand and the picnic area. Most of the guests have left; there are about 10 people at the party still. We see VITO and SANTINO at a table. They are cleaning up their area, as CLEMENZA, GENCO, TESSIO, and ROTHSTEIN play cards. THOMAS HAGEN SENIOR approaches VITO with his son TOM HAGEN.

THOMAS HAGEN SENIOR
Thank you for inviting me to this wonderful celebration here today. I donโ€™t tend to get involved in illegal issues, but I thought you might care to know that David McKigney lives in my building, and heโ€™s planning on re-instating the Irish Mob here in New York. Iโ€™m your loyal friend, since our sons are such good friends. I fear that he may cause harm to my family or myself if he discovers I am a friend of yours.
VITO
You have nothing to fear, my friend, I will talk to this David McKigney and see what he plans to do with this city.
HAGEN SENIOR
Thank you, Signor Corleone. I appreciate that.
VITO
Iโ€™ll do anything for my friends.

INT. Corleone Apartment in Little Italy-night
VITO and CARMELLA are in bed. There is a light on next to the bed. Both are topless. CARMELLA is rubbing Vitoโ€™s back as he sits on the bed.

VITO
(S) Carme, I love you. Itโ€™s been a wonderful 15 years, we have such amazing children, and I have such a beautiful wife.

VITO and CARMELLA kiss and then lie back on the bed together as VITO turns off the light.

Ok, guys this isn't a bunch of random ideas in jumbled paragraphs. It's an actual script exclusively to the 1927-1944 period. Luca, Sonny, Genco, Vito, irish, Capone, etc. Let me know what you think.

Ricardo, your Godfather IV script is completely ridiculous, I want to laugh when I read it. You should turn it in to a comedy.

Sollozzo worked for Barzini in Sicily?? What the hell is that?

And plus, you're not adding anything new. I think you shouldn't waste your time on the Godfather and start writing comedies. It seems to be what your good at.

Being a frustrated amatuer novelist, I say keep sluggin', Ricardo! I found myself waiting for the next scene! Despite what some may say, I know a gift when I see one! But I hope you'll get it copyrighted if you're gonna have it all over the 'Net (it only costs about $30)!

I'll tell you a cheap way to copywright something and it is totally legal and valid. Make a copy and send it to your self through the post. Make sure you don't open it in excitment of recieving post.

This way it has the date on it and gives you proof of ownership. If anyone challenges you take em to court, you've got all the evidence you need delivered to your door from most likely a reputable postal service.

Can I copyright it, even though it contains Corleone/Puzo characters?

What do you mean send it throguh the mail?
Sned the Script through the mail, or sen dthe Copyright through the mail?

I'm updating now.

i accidentally made a new page rather thn wirint gover the old one I'll fix that tonight. here w e go: http://www.dreamwater.net/zglo/1927-1944.htm

Exactly what I said....Put the script in an envolope then go to a post box and post it. Send it through the mail to yourself, to your own home. By that it is stamped with a date and that date proves when that script was made. Remember not to open the package because that invalidates it.

Then if someone comes along with a GFIV script that has ripped yours off you can prove when you wrote yours by the date on the package. I hope this is explained things better.

Good idea Turi, I might try that myself...

Just make sure that I don't send it via Parcel Force though...

Otherwise my film could be ripped off, lost, found, ripped off again, made into 6 sequels then remade 45 years down the line before my script is even delivered to me!

Actually, think of the case i'd have against them! 50 years down the line, the world finds out that the highest earning box office film was actually written by yours truly...

Yeah, I'm only 16. But i will soon reveal to the world that when i was 4 years old I wrote Godfather 3. (BOO!) Give me a break, it was good for a 4-year old wasn't it!

Just kidding I love Gf3.

I also wrote: Child's Play. And I snuck into John Gotti's aprtment an dplaced a bug frot he FBI. I broguht down John Gotti! LOL. I'm the mosfamous 4 year od of akll time.!

All you'd realy have to do is cange the names, and SOME incidents and you'd have a totally diferent movie. There would be no way to prove it was my Gf4. If it was about the Lorceones and Bruca Lazi! lol.

I'm going to take Turi's advice. And finsh the script before I post it online. Then I'll paentit throghnthe mail, and I'll post it. You guys are welcome to comment on the story so far.

The COrleones have problems with the Irish and Italians. The Castellamerese war leaves Maranzano and others dead. Vito triumhs but gets shot during the irish war. Sonny and Luca avenge Vito. Sonny takes over as Underboss. Luca's baby. Fontanes godfather. Roth, Ola, greene, in Vegas. Luca hakcs some people up. etc. Hagen move in. Genco gets sick, and Hagen takes over, the end. There'sa lot more of course, tho.

Remember, you know nothing! Omerta!

How long is the movie so far? It must be over 3 hours. But I can't think of anything for you to take out! Do you know how to write a real script or are you gonna find someone else to write the script for you when you finish this summary?

The summary wil prolly be like 9 hours LMAO

My script COULD be under 3.

I have PART of my script online at http://www.dreamwater.net/zglo/1927-1944.htm ???

If that don't work, i'll find the real site.

It tooka haitus while I'm reading Paul Castellano's Boss of Bosses!

I'm up to 1932, with abotu an hour anda hlaf estimate movie time.

One more war and some post-Long Beach and the movie should be done.

The Castellmarre war takes up the first half of the film, and the irish war will take up the second half.

let me know what you think.

KNOCC OUT! SHARE 2pac!!! I want 2pac!!!

I know there's a better chance of making an Omerta movie than a GF4!

I MIGHT writ e ascript for that.

I was alsothinkng of a Boss of Bosses script, until irealized they already made a movie. POOR ME!
