Ok fellas. So I've got a new mystery mobster for you..... I know the last go-around with Stefano Cannone was a tough one. Lol.... I wish I could tell ya that this next guy will be a cakewalk for ya, but I do think you have a tough road ahead, Lol... SO here's goes nothing.

This next New York City wiseguy (as well as his father) was there from almost the get-go. I can just imagine the things that this guy must have seen and heard in his lifetime. He originally came out of good ole Brooklyn and was affiliated with the old Profaci outfit, that later became known as the Colombo Family.

He started out as a "soldier" but would rise to great heights. Although he was in the thick of the action for well over sixty years, he himself was always so low key that he was almost invisible, which makes his biography as well as your "picks" for him that much more difficult (lets face it, who wants a easy lay down pick am I correct here?).

I will say this, although he was right 'there" at the very formation of this "thing," and operated for many decades he never seemed to have a burning ambition for wealth or power. In retrospect thats maybe why he was so trusted by other mafiosi (and what maybe kept him alive for so long).

Back in his day he was active in bootlegging, shylocking and extortion, thefts, waterfront rackets, and helped navigate the murky waters of the turbulent Brooklyn underworld. He was also suspected to have done considerable "work" in his younger days.

Because I know that he's a tough one, Each forum member has (3) Three picks ok!

WHO WAS THIS MAN?

Two respectable guesses. But no. In fact I already just wrote an extensive bio on Charlie Lemons about a month or so ago.

Johnny Boy, LOL..... I'm friggin impressed pal! I NEVER thought that any of you guys would get this particular name correct. On your first shot out of the box too! Either man could have worked. For sure.

But the biography in question I'm working on is Tommy DeBella.

Congrats! Great choice. You should play the ponies or pick a number. Lol

Charlie the Sidge was another respectable choice.

You guys have been on point with most of these picks. Kudos
