Yes,I believe it.Roy would be a tought guy but his violent life,the fact that he must kill,cut the bodies ectc for sure led to the use of drugs to to calm the nerves also include the fact of the threat of being killed by Cuban killers and having to kill his best friend by order of the boss.Maybe not coke but for sure something to forget.

100% right and it pisses plenty of people in that life off when Bruno gets called a junkie/druggie/etc. The guy is respected up and down the line by anybody who’s anybody. It was raining coke in those days and more guys were partying with that shit than those who weren’t.

Lots of people everywhere on the planet do the occasional line of coke when out partying; doesn't make them addicts. Once you start shooting smack up your veins or putting crank up your nose on a daily basis...now that's a whole different story.

I think many of our current times have sampled some drugs but have never been addicts. I am not counting associates and built up jerks like John Alite, Hottie, or Borello. I mean made guys or top echelon associates. Each generation of any group is a reflection of the times, I bet many who were around in the 1960's were pot smokers and the ones who turned 18 between 2000-20005 did some Ecstacy or coke. Full on addicts would not make the cut with the mob, guys who did little are likely common.
