Right now at my hospital we have 28 positive cases with five on a ventilator and 36 with symptoms and awaiting test results. Still getting dicked on supplies. All elective surgeries will come to a halt on Friday. The best part of this, is that visitors are not permitted.

Nashville SC has been pulled out of the MLS is Back tournament due to new corona cases within the team. Nashville is the second team to leave the tournament after FC Dallas, reports Major League Soccer. According to the MLS, nine Nashville players tested positive for the corona virus. FC Dallas had to withdraw on Monday for the private event at a resort that is part of Disney World, as ten players and a staff member were found to be infected.

I feel we are stuck in a media storm of numbers , charts and graphs. All designed to make this thing worse than it really is.

I understand its a bad virus and very contagious and so was the swine flu and many other diseases that have not gone through the same rigorous testing other epidemics have and were not even labeled epidemics.

I take the precautions recommended and hope all do as well but its getting a bit phony.
Some people get the flu, some dont.
Some people have Alergies, some dont.
Some people have cancer and many do but do not get diagnosed and others do not get it at all.

This thing has been Politicized and its disgusting

I wholeheartedly agree DP. Remember, it's an election year, hence the reason it's been politicized. I haven't been on Facebook as much or listened to the media as much either and it's for the best. We need to unplug ourselves (the media IMO are worse than the politicians!)

because the thing is that most people will try to avoid the vaccine (because of the rumors online and stuff)

Wear masks till October I say. Make sure washing your hands. Public restrooms I have been making it a habit of washing before and after using the restroom. Vitamin C has been a great treatment. There has been so much BS around the vaccine that it is hard to say what is true and what is not. It makes it a lot worse with it being an election year and politicians are trying to get the job or reelected. So they keep doing stupid stuff. I really can't blame the rest of the world putting sanctions on the United States, too much entitlement and look what happens.

The Cabinet of the Netherlands will not make wearing masks in public mandatory across the country as a way of fighting the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, but it will introduce new measures designed to influence public behavior, said Medical Care Minister Tamara van Ark at a press conference on Wednesday.

There is no reason to make it mandatory to wear masks in public places, according to Jaap van Dissel, head of the Outbreak Management Team. It does not lead to limitation of infections. There will be regional tests with mandatory masks, for example in Amsterdam Center. These are not so much medically motivated, but mainly as behavioral change and influencing.

We need to implement that here Hollander. Masks are being required more and more to where you go. And they don't fine the individuals but the businesses. So if you don't wear a mask in the business, they'll refuse you entry because they don't want to get the fine.

AZ's new infection rate has been down for a few days, but death rate is up--probably catching up with the big recent spike in infections.

Bartlett means well but he is leaving a lot out of the equation.

His results are based on patients who would have recovered anyway since it was for a lighter strain he treated.

Giving that treatment to the highest percentage of people with the stronger stains would be like giving a bandaid to a person on the beach who just had their arm ripped off by a shark.

Hope the process he offer does offer relief to some but he seams most interested in Texas being better at medicine than others, which is ridiculously reckless.

Our neighbours Germany, Belgium have much stricter measures. Even at schools in Germany mask are now required.

I do as well but I take it off once I'm in the gym. I wear it when I go in and when I go out but I do cardio for an hour and there's no way I'm wearing that thing doing cardio for an hour. Been doing it for a few weeks and no one's said anything to me.
