Close Hoffa associate, rumored to be an accomplice in Hoffa's death. Recently played by Jesse Plemons in The Irishman.

Reported by his stepson, author Jack Goldsmith, on his blog.

Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea

No problem. Author Dan Moldea just posted it on his facebook about an hour ago. That blog I posted above is the only source I found on google. He wasn't very famous anyway but still. Someone rumored to have been one of the last people with Hoffa.

I feel bad for O'Brien. It was never proven that he was complicit, but he has been investigated ever since. I don't think he was a gangster, he was Hoffa's stepson who drove Hoffa to a meeting.

I don't think a guy would go on A&E's Biography and be interviewed if he was involved in the Hoffa killing

I agree. Maybe I am way off base here, but I never got the impression he was a gangster.
