Two things to consider while we're on this topic:

Firstly, the Witness Protection Program began with Pascal "Paddy" Calabrese and was a direct response to
Buffalo mob boss Stefano Magaddino. While serving a five-year stretch, Calabrese started nursing a deep
hatred for Magaddino, who had cut him loose. Magaddino had done the same to the drug-dealing Agueci
brothers, forgetting about them as soon as they were arrested.

While out on bail, Albert Agueci threatened the 75-year-old Cosa Nostra boss, saying if Magaddino didn't
use his connections to help him and his brother, he'd talk to the FBI about everything.

And so.... Albert was not only found dead a few days later, strangled, then doused with gasoline and set
afire. Magaddino evidently had used the death to send a chilling message throughout the underworld, You
talk, you go...

Albert Agueci's body was missing 40 pounds of flesh, which had been sliced off. Both his arms and legs were
broken, and his jaw. The sawing, cutting and breaking had been done while Albert was still alive.

I wonder what's up with former Genovese capo Renaldi “Ray” Ruggiero flipping. It sounds like he only "half flipped", if there is such a thing. It just doesn't sound like he had to give the feds everything. That would make sense because he wasn't facing serious time. He got threatened with a few years in the can and he rolled on the family.

There are tons more CIs that we have no idea about. Some that got through their whole career ratting without getting outed. Or some who done a bit of ratting then stopped.

the guy ray from the genovese just wasnt built for it. theres alot of sun sential articles on him. he was a genovese guy for along time and lived in florida so eventually he becomes capo down there in charge of a few old guys who do loans and gambling. he was capo for like 1 yr then they all get indicted on rico. he decides to go to trial gets found guilty of everything and since hes the capo and the feds hang wiseguys in florida the judge gave him 15yrs. hes like 70ish at the time he calls the feds and gives them as much as he knows probaly not that much in south florida. he got his sentenced reduced and died not long after like quick. 1 or 2 yrs after its found out he flipped.

Yeah he was in bad health and already done half his sentence. That's when he decides to flip.

Regarding Philadelphia:

Mario Riccobene was never made

Rosario Bellocchi wanted to be made but wasn't, most likely because he spent most of 1993 locked up for the attempted kidnapping of Fernando Vincenti

Anthony Persiano is missing from that list

Harry Riccobene and Rocco Scafidi were both FBI informants during the 1960's but never actually flipped, testified or wore wires on anyone

Used to be mobsters flipped. Now they flip houses.

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

Streetbossliborio gave the source Neo. If you would like, you can read the FBI file NY 6436-C-TE, the one I have is redacted in some areas, but it is almost identical to the one Valin has. 5 clues, 1. attended Appalachian meeting. 2. Became capo in the Gambino family in 1957 after Franco died. 3. Has connections and spent time in Baltimore, MD. 4. Knew the Gallo brothers really well, as they visited his social club before Appalachian. 5. Was demoted to soldier after a soldier in his crew assaulted an FBI agent doing surveillance.

Okay, thanks. That last sentence is interesting. Someone else assaults a fed and Carmine losses his strips for it. Fuck.

That's what I'm saying, that's why Rocco Scafidi shouldn't be on the list. Mario Riccobene and Rosario Bellocchi shouldn't be on the list because they were only associates, not made guys.

John Veasey was also a captain when he flipped, not a soldier

Then you need to take Samual Mannario off your Pittsburgh list. He talked with them plenty and gave them nothing relevant.

I don't believe that Dante Strollo was ever made, so he would go off your list.
