I fell out of my chair laughing when Sammy said he wanted to bring back mental institutions. Maybe he's thinking of a retirement spot for himself lol.

I agree 💯... plus it’s not up to Gotti to decide who goes free and who does time. That’s up to the Government. And there was no way they were letting Gotti go free. They wanted Gotti WAY more than Gravano. He’s def lying right there and who knows what else...

Sorry if this has been answered before but in Gravano's book he talks about someone named "Zuvito" who helped his father out. Does anyone know who Zuvito is? Is it just a pseudonym? I'm guessing Profaci family, considering the time and place.

Secrets poured from Massino as he recalled a life of crime spanning more than five decades:
- Massino fingered John Gotti as the killer in a 1975 gangland hit of Vito Borelli never before attributed to the late Gambino boss. Borelli was whacked in a cookie warehouse because he said mob chieftain Paul Castellano resembled chicken king Frank Perdue.

Massino yesterday also named John Gotti as the triggerman in the 1975 hit of Vito Borelli, who’d made a crack about mob boss Paul Castellano’s resemblance to renowned chicken man Frank Perdue.

A March 1986 raid on DiBernardo's office seized alleged "child pornography and financial records." As "a result of the Postal Inspectors seizures [a federal prosecutor] is attempting to indict DiBernardo on child pornography violations" according to an FBI memo dated May 20, 1986.

. Yes. Although he did say that Gotti was capable of it. Me personally I always felt the same way. I never saw Gotti as a trigger man but he still ordered a ton of murders so he is a murderer. A couple of years ago I posted a list of all of Gotti’s hits that I know of and there was only one or two that I thought he may have had involvement in the actual murder

im not saying he would do it or should do it but maybe if frankie gave the location of robert dibernado body to the family. surposely he did away with it after sammy killed him at his office in brooklyn. probaly make the feds not appeal his ruling if hes granted a new trial or whatever the legal term is. there was some old mobster in rhode island a few years back on his death bed he gave the fbi the location of some guys body they killed in the 70tys and burried just so he could make peace with god or some shit

just looked at db the porn king from the gambinos he was a small fragile looking dude almost like a jewish banker. he was worth alot of money im surprised he was basically one of the founding guys on the plan to kill big paul. im mean you cant tell shit from a picture but he just looked like a dweeb he was from brooklyn i think and started out in the decavs big brooklyn crew and carlo gambino noticed he was such a money maker he just took him. he was one of the first guys made when they opened the books. he was a huge loan shark, porno kingpin and he had hooks in the union. whne he was killed they took his money and sammy took over his union guys. that fucked up and gotti says on tape i let sammy do it. the guy was only a soldier how could he have been any threat to gotti, also he must not have had many friends or blood relatives in the family cause it seems like no one gave a shit or tried to prevent it.

. I don’t think appearances mean anything. Scarfing was short yet he was one of the most vicious mobsters we have seen.

jcrusher very right. reminds me sammy would have been easy guy to take out if a boss wanted he didnt have a dad or brother cousin n the family. his sister was married to that guy garafolo who i think has many of his blood dad and uncle in the gambinos. sammy never mentioned that he makes it sound like edidie got into the gambinos on his coat tails

sammy loved to mention in his book how big a weasel his brother inlaw was and how everyone wanted to kill him but no one ever did. and he was in good standing with the familiyand other families over a decade after sammy flipped. i did read jimmy brown wanted to kill a few of sammys guys i think big lou and eddie but gotti sr said no. but that could just be steam. vic and gas would have killed sammys whole crew and there moms
