Mayo face made a video and told about how those guys got made . It’s not completely right but they did finally find out what I told you guys about months and months ago .

Don’t know if I posted it but I PM it to a bunch of you guys how they were made and the old Philly guy did it for Nick sr. years back .

That is that.

From a macro perspective I have to say I don't understand how rats are any worse than non-rats. They are all morally reprehensible people. They all, more often than not, spend insufficient time in prison compared to the gravity of their crimes and impact on society. They're a necessary evil because without them it would've been harder to break the mafia's stranglehold and their crimes would be even harder to prosecute.

Again, looking at it from a macro perspective. I've never seen a mobster in my life unless I passed them on the street, so the animus towards rats I don't get.

If I was a criminal with a street code, then yes I would hate them, but I'd also have the self-awareness to know my morals are different to John from Accounting or Helen from Human Resources.

I don't know if there's ever been a research paper done on how many rats reoffend, but it has to be very little. For every Casso or Gravano, there are twenty guys like Leonetti or D'Arco.

Is it not a good thing when people are offered the chance to be rehabilitated and reintroduced into society?

Every time I read that someone has gone "legit", I hark back to Junya's thoughts about mob retirement in The Sopranos: "what's this, the navy we're in?"

I guess it's an issue because these were big boys that were all grown up and able to make a decision about their lives. So they knew very well what they got into and decided to dedicate their life to a life outside of ordinary society. And then when they get caught, they sell out everything they claimed they "used" to believed in and f*cks it all up for a guy who were smart enough to not get caught. To me, that's just a rotten and spineless personality.
Also I can't help but to feel that most guys who turned because there was a contract out on them or "they thought they would be killed" only say so to justify their ends or to convince the public that they had no choice so they're not really a rat.

The only rat I have respect for is James Calandra from the Bath Avenue crew. He told it like it was and didn't sugarcoat it.
I think he said something in the line of
"Yeah I ratted. I went to prison. Kept my mouth shut and when i get out everybody turns on me all of a sudden. Guys, ratted on me. Even the higher ups started turning. What am I going to do be a sucker?"

@serpiente...i respect that, but it had to be an old guy that was still active and in good graces with the merlino faction or they would have been shelved long ago

I have a question......So after reading about all the making ceremonies they've done or doing. How is it possible that Merlino gave permission to Borgesi to go and make guys in Boston for the satellite crew? How was he able to go into another territory and do that? And why didnt those guys just sign up with the Patriarca's?

good question? baby shacks took over in 95 96 and started making guys. that guy leto and chippy s.......omthing was 2 guys he made in 96 according to some federal doc i read. it was i think chippys pre sentencing mempo and it had all that info in it. also read carmine and his brother were made by shacks around 96 97 so they must have asked permission or atleast let the boston guys know. nothing the boston guys could really do. philly doesnt need there permission to induct guys. i knew luisi had that old guy in connecticit gentile and thatv other old guy who may have died with those paintings in maine but the other 2 is surprising. someone said when luisi flipped he held out the other 2 guys cause there his cousins. i think i read on here that guy shawn either worked at big cheese shop in the north end or was there frequently so they must be cool

You have to remember the turmoil all the families were in . All the bosses were looking at time or locked up . The bosses that were active were behind Nick at the time and were not behind Skinny because he was just a street thug.

It was around the time Stanfa was in or just outed or when Skinny and half ass Ralph were around.

This was not recently.

The thing I don’t know for sure is the date .

They were not Luke’s like Mayo said they were Philly made guys before Skinny was or right around same time .

This is just proof of how fucken bad the Feds had the families on the ropes at that time . All kinds of shit that would of put people in the ground in the 80’s and before was going down .

Serp..are you saying persiano and pelullo were made from the old man WHEN either stanza was in the street or when joey and Ralph were in charge, cuz that’s exactly how I read your line...’ it was around the time.......”... so u don’t narrow a date but are saying it was the 90s and done when one of those 2 factions were in the street

I am saying I don’t know when exactly but before the First Plus case , or right at beginning but if that was the case I don’t think Skinny would of taken them in.

And I don’t think Nick sr. had enough juice as time went on so the time is a problem.

Now don’t get me wrong it’s always possible that one person got one fact wrong.

But one thing pretty dam sure Skinny would never if signed off on it back then.

So between Skinny and good amount of time before the First Plus case . And it was when NY still had Nick sr. as boss , so obviously it was before they excepted Skinny and Philly as it is .

Now obviously Skinny had to bring them into the fold or be told by NY that they are Philly soldiers.

Then there is always a chance it’s all not true .

But from what I’ve been told over the years it all matches up with what was just posted on Mob Talk , but it looks like AP is / was so fucked up that we may never know.

But my sources were right therein and during the First Plus case so most of it is pretty reliable.

The Stanfa and Ralph thing is just to show how screwed up it had gotten, guys getting made that were not even eligible according to the rules , so who knows who was made and who wasn’t.

No Biggie

Just too far back , was just pointing out that chaos anything can happen and guys like Previte if he was really made .

My guess the Luke’s made Jr. but would not hear about making AP and Sammy so Sr. got the okey to make them in the Philly family.

Sal Pellullo - and the gang went to Florida - that's most likely where they were"made" he went to see Senior Scarfo a few times in prison. AP is scum and so is Sal, I don't think Joey M would want to get involved with either one of them or their little croonies. They would all meet up in AC. Scarfo Jr, was a nice guy and respectable - but Sal was a loud mouth show off wanna be. AP would have kissed anybody's ass just to fit in.

this was around 2007 - 2008...and all while Ant P was on parole, fresh home from prison. didn't take him long to start ripping innocent people off and doing coke, and traveling illegally by saying it's "job related" - oh if they only knew.

that's bull shit - he thinks he's a boxer and he used to be Sal's driver and gopher. if he was on the up and up - he would have nothing to do with the scumbag crew. todd stark - the "head"of security for sal pelullo and crew.

Oh my:

All makes sense they were doing and hanging out together seen them on New York ave. often at a spot where JP was running for someone and the crew was pretty big for them to be hanging out with 10 plus guys in the open.

And that Sal what a fucken guy to make but still not as bad as AP.

They had a few local guys and a few Philly guys and a few north jersey guys all active ,the most of the guys are on charts and from all different families.

There was some shit that was going to go down but Feds got most of them first .

I am sure you guys can fill in the pieces from the time line and the guys that were involved with Jr. he had them all , but what gets me he must of had the okey from NY todo what he was doing. We all know it never came to fruition but very close and would of made for some wild history if it did.

But now it’s all history.

He walked around like he was a BIG guy and all he did was spend time with loser wannabe gangstas, who didn't have a pot to piss in. He and his followers would spend hours trying to figure out - just how they could make a BIG score off of somebody. Who can we rip off next? I think if he could - AP would rip off his own mother. He lied to his parole officer all time, and I know he abused the girl he was engaged to, the one that help him come home. I hope he rots in prison, he's a murderer and druggie. Now I hear he has a restaurant in the wife's name - in Northfield New Jersey. Gotta wonder where that money came from to open that place? Somebody should look at the books there.

read persiano was locked up from 1991 to 2005 06. so he was inducted after that. says he was a philly member. educated guess joe ligambi or whoever merlino had running the show at the time made him. im surprised him being that close to scarfo jr in 2007 08 09 the philly guys allowed him to come back into there fold. on another note you think merlino and them have the old gun on the table and prick the finger induction. im reading whoevee writes that lcnbios site the bonannos didnt give a fuck. massino and vitale had over 50 ceromonys they just sat them down told them the rules, and said a little oath. no gun or even a knife makes it so not special no wonder everyone in there familys flips then you had the genovese rat anthony from springfield say how he was stripped down then brought into a room with a gun an knife on table, they did the burning saint thing and all. 2 different claases i guess

The Philly guys did not make them Nick sr. Scarfo had them made by a old Philly member with theNY bosses okey.

But Skinny or someone had to sign off for them to come into the fold under Skinny or Joe L and I am guessing it had something to do with the Luke’s.

This is very personal to you ..... why ?

mistake says persiano was arrested for the murder in january 1993. so hes born in 1960 he was probaly inducted by scarfos cousins. tony buck or whoever was incharge theres a few of them. probaly got made in 89 or 90 by that guy who was acting boss for scarfo before stanfa took over in 91. piccolo or something that makes sense. if he was a made guy way back then it was before merlino took over. merlino and them could have just shelved him but they probaly thought he could earn and brought him back into the fold after scarfo jr was convicted guy did alot of time. he probaly was in the state system with ligambi when he was doing life for the frankie flowers murder till it was overturned in 98

I’m pretty sure AP got made when the FirstPlus scam was going on and Nicky Jr had a crew he put together in Atlantic City and it’s suburbs.
