New Hispanic gangs in Houston are taking more and more places.
Do you know if they are independent or when they go to jail they are affiliated to a bigger gang?
The Primera Gang Houston is one of the most violent.
Southwest Cholos gang Houston I believe they are affiliated with Surenos.

I would imagine in the prison systems throughout the Southwest the Mexican Mafia is the dominant group, so younger Hispanic gang members link with them when they hit the pen.

Texas has their prison outfits, too. Mexikanemi, Texas Syndicate, etc. Not sure how things work there regarding street gangs and their affiliation to the prison gangs. And, I'm sure the California gangs have a presence there. It's just not open territory for them, however.

"...the successful annihilation of organized crime's subculture in America would rock the 'legitimate' world's foundation, which would ultimately force fundamental social changes and redistributions of wealth and power in this country. Meyer Lansky's dream was to bond the two worlds together so that one could not survive without the other." - Dan E. Moldea
