Hi all,

I'm a small time collector of mafia books and magazines. I imagine most of you on here have mafia book collections 3-4x the size of mine. Anyways the reason for my thread is that I was wondering if anyone has any mafia memorabilia and if so what? How'd you come to own it? I often see things posted on eBay (checks, clothing, jail letters) and question authenticity but at the same time would love to see/own it.

Roy De Meo's son auctioned a lot of shit purported to have belonged to his father on Ebay, some of which wasn't even invented until after his death..

There was a member here who wrote about writing to mobsters in prison and getting nice letters back, can't remember which ones exactly.

I saw a letter from Vic Amuso once but I couldn't read his handwriting.

I invoke my right under the 5th amendment of the United States constitution and decline to answer the question.

That was Mafioso (RIP) on RealDeal . some of those letters were great. Like Scarfo bitching about "church" in prison.

He got a lot of replies i cant remember all them but i think Casso was one also. Persico sent him a thank you card but no message lol. And i can't remember exactly who, possibly Borgesi(?), that even wrote back to him "why the hell are u writting gangsters letters."
