Just the mention of Sarcone’s gives me goosebumps. I can close my eyes and still smell the bread. Fucking incredible. That’s my biggest issue with moving to Florida. Shitty sandwiches and even shittier pizza. Great broads though smile

Moe you don’t know shit about America, stick to your parents basement in Ireland. South Florida has some of the hottest Latina, South American, and European broads in the world! Miami is an international city.

The Servidio indictment mentions three capos: Persiano's capo (Dominic Grande), Servidio's capo (likely still Joseph Licata) and a third capo involved in making sure Persiano and Servidio were kicking up tribute while working together as they were from different crews.

When reporting on recent grand jury subpoenas, Dave Schratwieser identified both Martin Angelina and John Ciancaglini as capos, though (as Schratwieser and Anastasia admit) it's not an 'exact science' when talking about the structure of the family since the 2011 indictments.

Anastasia and Schratwieser describe hearing that George Borgesi is involved in only legitimate businesses and 'off the totem pole', but different people come up with different answers. I recently asked Scott Burnstein what his view of the hierarchy was and he identified Grande, Licata, Angelina, Borgesi, Phillip Narducci and Joseph Pungitore as the current capos.

Schratwieser said recently that the next Mob Talk would cover big news about one of the inner circle guys, so maybe that will shred light on it

I really don’t think Joe Pung and Narducci have anything to do with Philly LCN. Just my guess from what I have seen and heard, could be wrong....

I would personally be hesitant to carry Pungitore and Narducci (or Borgesi as well for that matter) as capos unless Anastasia, Schratwieser or law enforcement identified them as such. Just relaying what Scott told me

2cents weve found out narducci is still loan out money which he recently plead guilty to. If hes retired and the rest of the family in philly knows he doing and not kicking up a thing 500 at xmis or a free steak dinner its like a slap in the face to them. I dont know if hes a capo but he must be semi active in the family.

Right on Pmac

There is always a chance that Skinny has let the family fall that far , but from the looks of things and the size and scope of there earning area I don’t think he only has a few skippers .

And if he is letting retired guys earn and not kick he has lost that family and they are more like a gang.

These guys are doing pretty good just being legitimate .....fucken pretty hard to spend a bunch of years in the joint and come out to a shit ton of cash and a beach house and not have anything to do with the family.

Cherry Hill has always been a town w/ mobsters. Before South Philly families moved to Washington Township/ Sewell area, they were moving to Cherry Hill. It's even one of the first few towns in America to have an Organized Crime division in a township Police department (division since closed). Lots of South Philly mobsters lived there and conducted business in town...and of course the "Cherry Hill Gambino crew" which was part of NYC Gambino family were doing the same. Also, "Cherry Hill Fats" was a notorious mob associate/con artist who has a book written about him, Stanfa bodyguard Vince Fillipelli lives there, John Alite and some members of his crew lived and operated in town after relocating from Queens NYC. Cherry Hill was such a happening town, till 1976 when Atlantic City legalized gambling and people started going elsewhere for entertainment, that celebrities lived in town...including Muhammad Ali, Frankie Avalon, Pro-athletes, etc

Big Vince Filipelli is still in Cherry Hill and active in Cherry Hill. Borgesi lived in Cherry Hill pre early 2000s indictment.

Lots of Jews in Cherry Hill too.

THE BOOKS: PHILLY MAFIA FIGURE’S 2010 WEDDING WASN’T WHAT IT SEEMED FEDS SUSPECT

Scott Burnstein

September 21, 2019 — The FBI believes Philadelphia mobster Anthony Staino’s 2010 wedding doubled as an induction ceremony for new members of the Bruno-Scarfo crime family, part of a pattern by the organization in the past two decades of holding “making” rituals at public social gatherings, such as wedding nuptials, christenings and birthday and anniversary parties, per the most recent Mob Talk Sit Down episode on YouTube. The ceremonies are “pop-up style,” held in private rooms away from the other guests.

The 62-year old Staino just got released in the spring from doing a half-dozen years in federal prison for racketeering. Polished and business-minded, Staino climbed through the ranks of the Philly mafia in the 2000s, going from associate to soldier to capo to the storied syndicate’s “CFO” and No. 2 in charge. What exact position, if any, Staino holds today is unknown. He was indicted in 2011 and pleaded guilty in 2013.

Mob Talk Sit Down is hosted by legendary Philadelphia crime reporters Dave Schratwieser and George Anastasia. Nine years ago, Anastasia broke the news that the FBI had subpoenaed photos of Staino’s wedding held at The Atrium in the Curtis Center on the evening of September 11, 2010 and attended by the Philly mob’s then acting boss Joseph (Uncle Joe) Ligambi and most of the Bruno-Scarfo clan. The feds think Ligambi held a makeshift making ceremony that night somewhere on the property. Staino was mentored in the mafia by Ligambi, who recently hung up his gangland spurs and retired.

Up until last month, Ligambi had helmed the mafia in Philadelphia on a day-to-day basis for the majority of the past 20 years on behalf of Joseph (Skinny Joey) Merlino. The sly, fashion conscious 57-year old Skinny Joey is set to be released from a short prison stay for a gambling offense next week. Merlino has lived in Florida since 2011 however returns to South Philly often to tend to his shop.

Schratwieser and Anastasia have been told that close to 20 buttons have been given out in the last 18 years. Gangster Report broke the news of a 2015 making ceremony conducted by Merlino and Ligambi in order to beef up then capo George (Georgie Boy) Borgesi’s crew. Borgesi, 55, allegedly has replaced the low key, highly-respected Ligambi as Merlino’s acting boss. Ligambi’s is Borgesi’s actual uncle, his mother’s brother.

Ligambi was made in 1986. Merlino got straightened out in 1992 and then in the wake of winning a shooting war for power in the crime family, inducted Borgesi and a group of loyalists that have long made up his inner circle.

Borgesi was Merlino’s consigliere before they both were busted for racketeering in 2000 and sent to prison. Sources claim Ligambi made Staino in the early 2000s. Ligambi and two of his subordinates (New Jersey crew boss Joe “Scoops” Licata and Licata’s protege “Big Lou” Fazzini) we’re caught on an FBI wire discussing a late 2000s induction ceremony while lunching with a wired-up New York gangster at an Italian restaurant in Jersey.
