They remain about 10 families of the Italian mafia in the united states and I would make an article on each of them every week to know which their members or future members are under 50 years old to see their potential in a few years knowing that there are more and more elderly members and that the new generations are slow to make their appearance and they will not know especially on the same level as their predecessors.
For the Chicago family:
Paul Carparelli Born in 1968 Soldier currently imprisoned it should leave early 2018.
Robert Panozzo Jr. Born in 1992 Associates currently incarcerated in state prison is expected to leave in mid-2018.
Antonio Lumbrazo Born in 1968 Possible Soldier.
If you have other names?

Frank Orlando Born in 1968 was arrested with Paul Carparelli he is currently incarcerated he should be released in April 2018 I think he is a partner otherwise I think the Chicago Outfit is one of the families with the least future seen the advanced age of all is members it in the end of its history what do you think?

The reason why the Outfit is still viable is that unless the other families had a large numbers of italian and not italian associates.
What you see is the core group (30 made men) but each capo was a boss in his little, so you see the old guys but not the young boys.

Do you really think Furio that the Outfit will have a new generation after the departure of the elders who are still in place?

Everything is a big guess when it comes to the modern day Outfit because they are so secretive. I've read in another thread recently that the FBI has given up on making a case against DiFronzo because the man is just too well insulated.

So as long as nobody cooperates we basically don't know anything..

Yes Miklo because in the outfit like in Detroit the sons follows his fathers in the life (Calabrese that flips was an exception) and for sure the outfit won't have problems to find smart criminals with an italian surname.

If the Outfit were still powerful, that umpire who called the foul tip during the Granderson at bat last night would have never made it home.

Know what' I'm talkin' bout? Huh?

I disagree Fur, Calabrese was the exception in that usually in The Outfit sons DO NOT follow their fathers in to The Life. Frank jr said it many times in interviews and in his book that in Chicago, unlike often is the case in NY, Outfit members want their sons to have a (semi-) legitimate profession and don't want their kids in The Outfit.

Ok thank you for this information so you think the Outfit and the Detroit family still have many years ahead of them?
I thought that they were rather in their last years

The outfit is still going strong, unlike other families, the outfit rewards mobsters that do a stretch in prison so naturally more often then not, senior people will be in the forefront. The younger mobsters are there but they have to earn their trust

"McGurn likes you, so I make you. So you are now one of us, if you fuck up, we take it out on McGurn. He is your sponsor. Fuck up, it's his ass. You work in his crew, he is your capo."

What was the story behind the friction between the Cicero faction and the admin? Did it have anything to do with Marino taking a picture with a snitch?

Ah ok Billy I don't read those books but if the ferriola son is in the outfit maybe wasn't the only mobster son that decide to join the outfit even if his father said to don't do it.

Lumbrazzo "The Canoli Kid" is a DJ in Bucktown and posts in the Facebook Group.

The real younger guys in Chicago like Rada, Andy Rovito, Nick Ruggio and John Rainone are mostly kids of Outfit guys that pull small time scams and open restaurants in the suburbs. There are other Sicilians in Addison like Pete LaBalestra and others who took over Tony Carcione and Frank Rappa's drug business who are in their 40s and 50s. There are a lot of other young guys that no one really knows like "Jonny Moe" a massive guy who guards Marco D'Amico.

What picture are you talking about with Marino with a snitch? Can you post it?

Also, what about Anthony Giannone. He's around 50 or so and has been involved in about everything including drugs, extortion, loansharking, theft and bookmaking. Anyone got info on him?

completely false. Outfit intermarries & brings family into it more than any other American LCN group.

I think he's referring to an elderly Elmwood Park resident also with the surname of Marino that Calabrese Jr was photographed with a few years back.

If so, that is not the Louie 'Tomatoes' Marino, the legendary Ferriola crew member, of whom you're likely referring to.

According to Frank Calabrese jr. it was the complete opposite.

And again, I say: absolutely false. The Outfit is more similar to a Camorristi Clan than any other Italian American Crime group.

Not even close to being defunct. No one thinks that either. Detroit, I can't speak on, but probably. The Outfit has more juice on the street & clout than Philly or Boston, that's for sure. Probably equal with street level stuff to the Bonnanos, give or take.

The two families never had much in common, other than the fact that they did business together occasionally & are both in the Midwest. They also are both adamant on inter-marriage & bringing relatives into the Life.

Jaws' son Marco got 40 years for dealing drugs last year. I think Jaws himself is laying very low right now.

ChiTown I heard that. Marshal Giorango right? He was a dealer in that UofI Champaign ecstacy ring? Was in his early 20s? What a fuck up. If I'm thinking of the right kid.

For those unaware, Jaws Giorango was facilitating a lucrative prostitution ring known as 'The Circuit' in Miami. He was the straw that cracked the back of Broadway Bank, the bank owned by Obama protege Alexi Giannoulias, who was also in the running for Illinois State Treasurer. He loaned Jaws around $20 million.

He sold his shipping company a long time ago, correct?

Again, for those who care to know, Steve Panzarella was a shipping mogul (responsible for a large portion of Motorola shipping in the 90s) who pumped a considerable amount of capital into the rise of Fat Mike Sarno. Some may say, he bought his way into the Outfit.

Montana I don't know as much about. He is a real estate guy, no?
