Hi, has anyone listened to mob talk radio on you tube? There's quite a few 1 hour long shows on different mobsters. I think the guy who does the shows is some kinda legal aid. He receives a lot of death threats I know that. On the Demeo crew he has his take or angle on a few topics. He goes in heavy on the iceman and also tells a story about becoming friendly with Senter and then falling out with him when trying to give him legal aid.

I mean all mobsters are bad people but if you re gonna praise a mobster then gotti should be very low on the list. he was a moron degenerate gambling thug who pretty much destroyed the mob. As soon as you hear someone praise Gotti you will know they are not well versed on OC. Gotti personally set back LCN forever, literally useless. Broke rules, killed a boss, was a complete degenerate, purposely drew attention, refused plea deals, nepotism to brain dead family, let sam gravano run loose. Hahaha its like he purposely did the opposite of every right thing. He must have had a hell of a personality though haha...

Crazy thing is Jeff used to be anti Gotti. Then he fell out with Alite and went team Gotti. He currently has a lawsuit against Alite. He has an uncle or something who was with Raymond Patriarca so he’s familiar with LCN history and that’s basically what I listen for. Discussion on subjects. The Alite vs Gotti drama is played out.

Gotti was not the reason the mafia fell. He was not the only one that took part in the Castellano overthrow either, he had many captains in on it, including Gravano. If a radio host who covers the mafia chooses to praise Gotti as a mobster that does not mean he is unfit to discuss the mafia. A few people are too worked into an uproar over Gotti, and it is evident in the way they are so desperate for his movie to fail.

I listened to the show he is not well versed, a lot of bad and false info overall. And a lot of bad personal opinions, plus it looks like he is reading about gangsters from wiki. Now about the movie Me personaly would want nothing more than to have another great mafia movie to watch, nothing more but this isn't the one. It looks very cheap and not so good and i'm sorry bout that. I loved the hbo movie "Gotti'".

No matter how you feel about Gotti the movie just doesn't look good. It doesn't help that it is basically a Gotti "fluff" piece and the gotti family basically was in control of how it was portrayed so you can't blame people for not giving it a chance.

I listened to the episode about Philly and Anthony Casso. It's full of inaccuracies and mispronounced names plus more opinion than fact. Waste of time in my opinion.

Armand Assante did a very good portrayal. The movie was also entertaining. However even that movie was innaccurate. Ralph Galione was actually an associate of the Bergin crew not Castellano's and obviously Sammy never killed John Favara

I am listening to Jeff C-------'s podcast about the Rizzuto Crime Family, where he mentioned that Rizzuto had an army of 500,000 made men and 800,000 associates and they earn 10 trillion dollars a year. Seems like he got the information from that website, because that's the only place where I can find where that assertion is mentioned. That's the same website that says that the Chicago Outfit has over 200,000 made men, and an estimated 300,000 associates....they earn 15 trillion dollars a year...and have killed 250,000 people. I mean, if Mr. C------- believes that, then his research is very poor.

No.. Don't believe anything on those sites, they can be and are edited by anybody. Check our board here, there's tons of good info available. Also official books that have been professionally researched.

The mafia wikia actually used to be an accurate and nice resource. Then that douche bag SelwynRaabMafiaExpert is the user on that wikia changing the ridiculous Numbers, adding fake quotes attributed to law enforcement, fake stories etc. such a shame. Too bad someone can't just ban that jack ass and re set the site back a year or two before he came around vandalizing it.
