Up until the mid to late 90s the mob were major in street crimes as there was tons of money to be made in the streets and they're were many street rackets but as the Mob lost its power,Major members flipping,Top members jailed for long periods and technology took over completely ! No more Chop shop,car rackets which made people literally rich over night,Cash was off the table,everything went to plastic ,cc cards debit etc,No more hijacked truck rackets,stolen goods,Burglary rings,safecracking,bank jobs and Advancements in technology have virtually taken Major Major rackets like these out of the game ! Those rackets alone and rackets that were related indirectly from those listed literally killed the mob ! Also,People no longer congregate or hang out in the streets,on corners,blocks,parks,schoolyards etc took away from the recruitment pool as at one time all people did was go out into the streets 24/7 ! There was no longer a need for protection amongst different groups,individuals ,people ! All major crime,street crime in general has virtually vanished as everyone is connected thru social media,the internet,cell phones,tablets etc etc...Drug dealing,trafficking,sales are not even done out in the open in the streets anymore which was major !!!! There were for a very long long time huge gigantic open air drug markets and one could not get hard drugs of any kind unless you went to a number of different neighborhoods,blocks,shooting galleries, crack houses ! Certain neighborhoods there were 100 drug spots with lines wrapped around the block ! Guys who were major street guys, The feds will go to any length to put these people away and keep them away ! The mob street crimes are like Zero today and they don't have the toughness,willingness,manpower to go up against any of these new groups today !! Blacks,Hispanics,Jamaicans,Haitians,Albanians,dominicans,Mexicans etc are like who the fuck is coming for me ?? Hahaha, these motherfuckers don't give two fucks about some john Gotti,johnny tomato's or whoever,They don't care,and they don't know these people !! They will go armed to the teeth with Ak's and shoot up everything and not give a shit !!
