AG,

There are some guys on the radio who ripped this guy's entire act off.Too similar to be a coincidence.

Funnier than Christie getting dragged for this issue, is the way the press has special rules if they don't like you. "Fat Shaming" is the new buzzword, and they're coming after people for ANY comment seen as negative over a person's weight. Comedians are DESTROYING the Gov. for his hypocrisy but they are making all types of fat jokes. Press gives them a pass because it's Christie. Gotta laugh at the media double standards.

About beach-gate,though..people from Jersey are used to this funny behavior from our governors. This is a do as I say, NOT as I do state. Gov. Corzine got into a car accident years ago while his driver was speeding(going over 90 mph, I think weeks after the state had just raised fines for speeding.

GOTTA LOVE NJ!!!!

Also, that Nevada sign you put up, is that a REAL sign or from a film...and how long ago was it if real?

wow!!!!!!!

So in part of the state, prostitution was legal, but weed was illegal. uhwhat

Gets, that's pretty lousy they copied his act. Vic's rants are nothing new though. Italian males have been bitching and moaning just like him for years. They just weren't creative enough to video themselves ha ha smile

Lol beach gate that's hilarious. I'm glad the media is really dishing it to him! Funny how there is a double standard about the fat shaming.

The picture of the sign I put up is supposed to be REAL. Hunter wrote about it in the book. That was before my time so I never did see a sign like that driving to Vegas. Usually the signs would be of a casino showing who was performing that month. Baker is a city where everyone stops. So, there was a sign for that.

Yeah you can get anything you desire in Vegas. If you're a VIP or whale they call them, whatever you can imagine will be yours grin I've spent a lot of time in Vegas and have a few funny stories. But, like that saying goes, "Whatever happens in Vegas stays in Vegas." Lol I was there for New Year's Eve 1999 and it was INSANE. Crazy time!!!

Edit: I reread my post and decided to delete my RANT about the fat shaming article. I copied it to save for another discussion. Sometimes, I get way too emotional over things. Sorry Gets!!!

Did you see the one where he is in his car in a parking lot with no one near him. Then at the end someone parked right next to him. I love that one. I had that happen to me in the late 1960s in a shopping mall. Got a little nuts when it damaged my new car.

Oh no your new car got damaged back then. Wow! A little nuts...um I can only imagine what happened next lol

I haven't seen it. I'll look it up. The yelling and the bickering give me a headache. So, I can only watch his stuff every once in a while. There was one I saw and he was talking about falling asleep on the couch full of plastic getting stuck to it in the summer lmao and the other was about the plastic runner in Nonna's house. I was on the floor laughing so hard watching those lol

I'll watch the vid you suggested. In the meantime, here's a story for you. My Dad used to bowl often. So, the story goes that the night he went bowling that week, there was supposed to be heavy rain due to a storm coming. This is in Jersey. So, before going into the bowling alley what does he do? He gets soap and puts it all over his car. He goes inside to bowl. He hears the rain coming down hard. The guys are getting ready to leave the place. Some guy says to them, hey the parking lot is full of suds. So, they go outside and there's bubbles and suds all over the place. But my Dad's car was as clean as a whistle he said. lol But when my father would tell the story it was so funny.

Thanks Gets. My father had so many stories. He said that after a big snowstorm, he wouldn't drive. Instead he'd SKI down Gorge Road to River Road to go to work in Edgewater. lol My Aunt said he's so full of it. But my Godfather said that he believes my father really did it ONCE. Ha ha.

My dad was similar. He was born and raised in Brooklyn but when he spoke of my mother's family (she was born in Kingston, NY - upstate - but moved to Brooklyn when she was about seven years old) he used to say that her family was chased down the Hudson River by Indians when it froze over.

I watched it. He's gotta park RIGHT HERE, right...here. That's what ticks me off lol. Pretty funny stuff.
Your sister's ass lol God I haven't heard that in twenty years or more. I miss NY talk.
Vic D's stand up comedy was hilarious. It wasn't the vid from his channel. It was from a comedy club in Bergenfield in north Jersey. While watching it, I kept hitting my hand on the table while laughing and stomping my feet on the ground. I only do that when something is so funny I can't stand it, laughing so hard I can't catch my breath!!!!! Thanks. That made my day!

I put up a story for you to read in my other post.

lol The stuff they come up with is so silly. Dad had stories lined up to tell us. But my Grandpa never told stories. The one and only comment he would always make was, You can't win with the women around. And you know what? That I could believe grin

My father before he died told me a few stories. He told me about Vincent mad dog cole he invented the drive by. There was a guy who lived right across the street from us. Cole wanted him dead so he drives by the guy and he has the tommy gun. Fired the whole round clip at him. Bullets every where in the street up to the first floor. He hit the guy once in the leg. The gun took him for a ride. It was invented to shoot people in a crowd when on full auto.

Then he told me how Joe Volachie lived in the iron place barn as a homeless kid. That was right around the corner from me. He said that was why he was a rat. That barn was full of east river rats. I used to take one of Daddio guns and we would shoot the rats in that barn.

Then we had the eye doctor story together. Then the movie story and then how he stalked my mother after he saw her coming out of the subway. Then how his family disowned him when he converted to a Catholic from a Jew when he married my mother. Then his sports he was an amature boxer had over 100 fights once beat the champion of the army. He also speed skated on ice.

Plus the hundreds of times he beat us up to make me and my brother good. Then the abuse of my mother he would burn her with cigerates. All this caused me to run a way from home when I was 6. I went back home to help my mother after he was dead. But at that time she was so brain washed that after he died she just wanted to die herself. She actually missed him.

Foots, good stories. And thank you for telling me about the funny vids because I really did laugh my ass off last night watching them. I needed that!!

I have a story but it's not a very nice one. Back in my Dad's high school days in Cliffside, he and his pals held one of their teachers out the second story window until the teacher agreed not to give the class a quiz he was supposed to give that day. frown

All of a sudden this cop comes down the road lights on, siren. The cop asks my Dad what he's doing on this private road. And my Dad tells him he didn't know it was a private dump. Then, the cop puts my Dad in handcuffs. My Grandma starts getting out of the car yelling at the cop. The cop told her to get back into the car. I thought she was going to hit him with her pocketbook lol. I could see that my Dad was getting aggravated but had to keep his mouth shut because the cop hated his kind, a New Jersey/New Yorker moving into California. Finally, the cop took the cuffs off and let him go. But, it's something that I'll remember my entire life. My Dad had to go to court. He told this story a million times. He said that he told the judge he's "guilty with an explanation". He paid the fine. Back then if you had an east coast accent especially what I call a CITY accent like my parents have, native Californias dislike you. They think you have an attitude when it's not that at all. Brea cops are the worst:(

I think Brea was one of those Orange County towns where black people weren't allowed after dark. I mean there was actually a law in the books.

One of my kids went to a public grammar school a few blocks from where we lived. I go to meet my wife to pick my son up. Then we go home and she tells me that a person in one of the building next to the school exposed himself to the women waiting to pick their kids up at the school. So I take my newest friend I made in Brooklyn with me. I made my wife show me the window where it happened. So we go knock on his door it is a kid 15 yrs old more or less. Next thing he is out the window we are holding him feet first and tell him he ever does that again. We are coming back and going to drop you from this window. No problems with him again. Get this some women did tell the police. They visited him but evidently could not do anything about it. Because he was inside his apartment so technically they were looking into his place and not exposing himself to them.

FUCK THE POLICE

http://www.bakersfield.com/news/black-te...df9acfb2a8.html

That man, who police identified as Douglas Washington before arresting him the next day, was described in multiple police reports from June 18 as a 25- to 30-year-old man, bald, about 170 pounds standing at 5 feet 10 inches. He was wearing a white t-shirt, dark jeans and a pink or red backpack that contained the machete.

When Moore found Hargrove behind the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, the 115-pound teen, who stands 5 feet 2 inches, was wearing a baggy white shirt, blue jean shorts and a black hat. She was straddling a bicycle, a red and black backpack slung over her shoulder. In it were three cold water bottles, Hargrove said in her video. She had pulled over in the shade for a drink

Black teenage woman, mistaken for machete-wielding black man, alleges police brutality

BY HAROLD PIERCE hpierce@bakersfield.com Jul 10, 2017 Updated 10 hrs ago 49

A black 19-year-old woman was punched in the mouth by an officer, bitten by a police K9 and arrested last month after an officer said he mistook her for a 180-pound bald man suspected of threatening people with a machete at a nearby grocery store.

Tatyana Hargrove’s story has been gaining attention this week after the NAACP's Bakersfield chapter released a Facebook video Monday morning recapping the incident, which it said was racially motivated.

It comes about six months after the group released a similar video alleging two black college students were roughed up similarly by Bakersfield Police Department officers without cause.

In the most recent video, Hargrove alleges that on June 18 she was walking home from Wooden Nickel Trading Company on Ming Avenue, where she had gone for a Father’s Day gift, when she was approached by an officer. He drew his gun as soon as he got out of his patrol car, she claims.

The result of the contact? An altercation that left Hargrove with scrapes, bruises, a punch to the mouth from one officer and a bite from a K9 released by another. During the course of her arrest, Hargrove said she feared for her life.

“He [the officer] put his other knee on my head, and I told him, ‘I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe’ and I started yelling out: 'Somebody help me, somebody help me, they’re going to kill me,’” Hargrove said in the video, which received more than 225,000 views in eight hours and attracted hundreds of comments expressing frustration and anger.

She declined to speak to The Californian through NAACP Bakersfield chapter President Patrick Jackson, who spoke on her behalf.

She was arrested on suspicion of resisting or delaying an officer and aggravated assault on an officer, according to BPD arrest records.

The NAACP says Hargrove was targeted for her race. BPD says it was a case of mistaken identity.

BPD Sgt. Ryan Kroeker wouldn’t comment on specific matters in the police report, but said that criminal charges have been filed against Hargrove and the case has been forwarded to the Kern County District Attorney’s office for review. The department has determined the force used was appropriate, and no internal investigation has been launched, Kroeker added.

‘DON’T LIE TO ME, THAT’S A GIRL’S NAME’

The arresting officer, Christopher Moore, said in a police report obtained by The Californian that he didn’t know Hargrove was a woman until after she was handcuffed.

He mistook her for a machete-wielding suspect who had come out of the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market on Ming and Ashe avenues after threatening several people, according to the report.

She had pulled over in the shade for a drink.

“She appeared to be a male and matched the description of the suspect that had brandished the machete and was also within the same complex the suspect had fled to,” Moore wrote in his report. He thought she had a weapon in her bag.

Moore, who patrols with a K9, pulled over, drew his sidearm and ordered Hargrove to put her hands in the air, according to the report.

Hargrove turned around and said: “What you all stopping another black person for. I’m out of here,” according to Moore’s report.

Jackson denied Hargrove ever spoke those words and disputes other parts of Moore’s report. The incident escalated when Moore asked to search Hargrove’s backpack, she said in the video. When she asked if he had a warrant, she claims, he gestured toward his K9 and then released the dog.

None of that is mentioned in the police report.

Instead, Moore wrote that Hargrove ignored police commands, placed her feet on her bike pedals and that it “appeared she was going to flee.”

It was around then that Officer G. Vasquez arrived. Moore told Hargrove she matched the description of a man who had just threatened people with a machete, and he ordered her again to get off her bike and put her hands up.

Hargrove’s response, according to Moore: “This isn’t happening. I’m leaving.”

The report doesn’t indicate that at any time Hargrove fled.

Moore retrieved his K9, Hamer. Moments later, Vasquez was handcuffing her when she spun her left shoulder into him, according to the report.

He was knocked off balance and fell to the ground, his legs tangled in the bicycle. Hargrove fell backward on top of him, then spun around into "a mounting position” astride the officer. Vasquez punched her in the mouth then pushed her off, but she got back on top, the report states.

Seeing that Hargrove was within arm’s reach of her backpack, which Moore still suspected contained a machete, he released his dog, his report states. She tried fighting him off, grabbing his muzzle.

“Let go of my dog,” Moore shouted. She thrashed back and forth, screamed obscenities and kicked at the officers as they subdued her, the report states.

Officers searched her and the backpack but found no weapons, according to the report.

Once Hargrove was in the backseat of the patrol car, Moore asked her name. “Tatyana,” she said.

“Don’t lie to me, that’s a girl’s name. What is your name?” Moore asked.

“I’m a girl, I just don’t dress like one,” she responded.

“This was when I first discovered she was a female,” Moore wrote in his report.

He wrote that when he brought Hargrove to Kern Medical Center, several nurses referred to Hargrove as a man, asking what “he” had done. Moore corrected them, saying she was a girl and the nurses “were surprised and apologized for the mistake.”

A SIMILAR ACCOUNT

Hargrove’s account is a familiar narrative. Just six months ago, the NAACP released a similar video featuring Timothy Grismore and Xavier Hines, two black college students who said they were taking a break from studying to get a late night meal at Taco Bell when they claim they were stopped by an unmarked BPD patrol car, roughed up, and arrested.

Police said at the time they suspected the two were illegally jaywalking. Kern County District Attorney Lisa Green declined to press charges and said police had no reason to contact the pair the night they were arrested.

Grismore and Hines have since retained an attorney at Chain Cohn Stiles and filed a civil suit against the department. Their trial is set for January 2019.

Neil Gehlawat, who is representing Grismore and Hines, said he’s seen Hargrove’s video and is appalled by the events, calling it “consistent with the culture and allegations” leveled previously against the department.

Jackson said it was positive proof of the BPD's pattern of targeting black people in that neighborhood. Hargrove’s incident occurred about a mile from where Grismore and Hines were arrested. It’s a neighborhood where police say they try to proactively curb violence among criminal street gangs.

“It’s becoming more and more of a pattern,” said Jackson, who alleges Hargrove was arrested for simply walking down the street. “She’s never been in trouble before, and all of a sudden you’re a heinous criminal in two seconds.”

He wants the Kern County District Attorney’s office to drop all charges against Hargrove, but more importantly, to bring public awareness of the inequality in policing

Thanks for posting this. I put it up on my Facebook page where it will get more attention.

Hope she gets $10 million for what she went through. Those two officers, Hargrove and Vasquez, need jail time. If their chief doesn't order an internal investigation and stop defending the officers, the people of Bakersfield need to fire him.

UPDATE: As a result of all the negative publicity, the Bakersfield police chief has opened an internal investigation: http://www.bakersfield.com/news/bakersfi...28a544ea2c.html

Most people I should say most white people would not believe her story. I do because things like that has happened to me by cops. But I kind of understand what happened to me. But how can they make a mistake like that with her? Here is my take on this cops are just scared shit of people, and they have too much power. They should be because when something like that happens to you meaning that girl. You will never give the cop a chance again. You will hate them for the rest of your life.

F1 and Foot,

You've got to read the BULLSHIT in the official police report for yourselves.

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/3892778-Arrest-Report-For-Tatyana-Hargrove.html

Apparently young women who are 5'2" and 120 lbs can knock down male cops, with their shoulders while being handcuffed.....according to the report

The real suspect was taken in the next day. I did an inmate search for the area and he's in custody but I couldn't access his mugshot. He's listed as 170, bald headed with a goatee and we can all see...the cops made an "honest mistake" by mistaking this little pipsqueak girl for the actual suspect.

So these cops have bad eyesight & are so weak that people built like olympic gymnasts can manhandle them with ease.......according to the police report.

See why police unions fight against the use of bodycams?

If it wasn't so horrible it could be a skit on Dave Chappelle. The actual suspect would be a 6'2" white, bald male with a goatee and a swastika carved into his forehead.

The problem with the bodycams is that both of the officers involved had them, but they weren't turned on!

Meanwhile, in another case of police abuse, an officer with several complaints against him shoots a woman through the door of his patrol car as she is speaking to another officer. She called the police to report an attempted rape. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national...ticle-1.3334772

In Seal Beach, California (not far from me), a police captain kills his ex-girlfriend before killing himself: http://www.ocregister.com/2017/07/17/2-b...pected-shooter/

That the new one that takes place in Minnesota the cop has 4 complaints against him in 2 years. All the body cams were off all the police car cams were off. Best thing to do is don't go to Minnesota and don't buy any MyPillows made there either.

F1 and Foot,

I read about the case in Minn. I wonder what kinds of lies are on that police report. A WOMAN makes a 911 call about a WOMAN possibly being assaulted.... then this ENGLISH SPEAKING WOMAN runs up to the police car and gets shot dead.

But it's the "Kay from Godfather" effect though. Blonde woman (unarmed)gets killed by cops so the world is watching. Police chief resigned already.

Foot, I did not know that those pillows were manufactured there.

Not sure, but cops shoot at, shoot, and choke people to death all the time and walk, so wouldn't be surprised if the cop isn't charged. Heard parts of the police report read on the radio and have to look at it myself to see how they explained this one.

I think I bought a ticket from that Mobile gas station once. Anyway, it plainly says on the back of the tickets "YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO PLAY." That's a legal disclaimer printed in all caps to make it easy to read. So they don't have an excuse and they don't have a case.

F1,

Isn't it illegal for the store to sell a gambling ticket to a minor? Not sure how it's done elsewhere, but in Jersey they sell those gambling tickets/games/cards in vending machines in some supermarkets. Sure the age limit restriction applies in Jersey(technically), but it's a joke.

The rule of State needing to see the actual transaction of the winning ticket is new to me.

If you thought smoking bath salts was as bad as it could get, you haven’t heard of “hotshots.”

Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell described the recent trend reported in his county.

“This is a trend that’s just started. We suspected there was a new drug, or new way of DOING drugs, and it’s called ‘hotshots.'”

Sheriff Cantrell stopped suddenly, compelled to explain the behavior of someone under the influence of the drug.

“Let me tell you something. The behavior of a person who’s done hotshots is just awful. THey’re ruined. Ruined for life.”

The wasp poison is sprayed on a wire mesh, then heated by a battery charger. This crystalizes the spray which is then melted down and injected intravenously.

Sheriff Cantrell explained further.

“A person will stand at a jail cell door, slobber like a mad dog, wanting to fight. Everything is wrong, Nothing is right for one minute, then calm down and be just like a normal human being and then go right back into a rage.”

If you think you are too small to make a difference, you haven't spend the night with a mosquito.
