Here we go again...

Seems we have 8 teams resurrected from last year ready to go, but I haven't heard from DB who needs to make JL and me Ass Commishes (if he doesn't want to run it). Please check the league message(s) on the Yahoo league page and show your interest in this years' game ASAP.

If there is a draft, it will be sometime about a week before the season starts on Sep 8th.

Time keeps flying -- I've tentatively set the draft for this Tuesday at 8pm ET. If most ppl can't make that, I'm thinking Friday at 8pm ET.

Any other day this week (or any earlier time) and I'd have to autodraft -- but if that has to be the case, then that'd be the case. As defending Champ, I can handle it.

But we gotta get this squared away -- please sound off on the League Page ASAP!

To set the order, I went through the following steps:

1 - I went to http://www.random.org/ -- DB's favorite random order generator website

2 - Using "Integer Generator" to pick a number between 1 and 20, I got:


3 - I went to "List Randomizer" and input our list of owners (list from top to bottom per what I saw under "Managers" in Yahoo.)

4 - This list of owners was randomized 9 times to get to a final list which is our draft order:



So there you have your draft order.

As a reminder, the draft is today, Fri Sep 2 at 8pm EDT

Wow, DB really had me sweating it out Monday night! My team had 135 pts going in, and he had 2 more positions going and needed just 8 pts to beat me, between his Rams RB and Rams Def... I figured I was doomed, but at halftime I was thinking I was being teased with the narrow chance to actually hold on -- and wow, the Rams got blanked and somehow he only got 5 pts total! haha ...tho I'm waiting for the weekly "stat corrections" to cancel out my narrow win...

Are you still paying attention to the Baseball League? It's a 1 point game after 140+ games.

Wow, I didn't notice (being mired in 6th place lol) -- that's amazing! BB does have a dozen more Game Starts to use, though, if he can catch up like I'm trying to do...

With only 18 games left, it's going to be hard to make up many SP games unless you gamble on risky starters, and drop players from your roster.

My inevitable fall. To think had I not swapped my defences, I'd be 3-0. But... I'm where I should be I guess, not being able to score well consistently.

NJ Giants would not have lost to any other team in the league besides Lilo's Wolfpack this week.

Very close (had Yao not barely won last week, I'd've beaten my nephew in the finals )

In any event, he deserved the win. He's the only team to beat me twice in the regular season (despite him losing to both lowly DB and YO, we had the same record). His 10 wins in a row are remarkable.
