I read something like this from another news source, who said that the only people ISIS feared was the mafia in southern italy.

Being Calabrese, this isn't an easy thing to say - I question if it's fear. Could also be that ISIS likes selling herion to the sicilians and italian mobs. You don't sh*t in your own backyard.

There are people who believe (not me necessisarily) that even if your selling or using small amounts of coke and heroin, you're supporting terrorism. That shit aint grown here. If you're getting it, you're supporting Mexican Cartels, Taliban, or Chinese communists.

I grew up in Belmont in the '60 and '70s. I'm well versed about the life and the neighborhood wiseguys. And it was a very safe neighborhood back then. But it had nothing to do with the mob. It was xenophobia that kept us safe. Just telling it like it is (or was, anyway).

no its not because the heroin came through Afghanistan not iraq or syria where isis are based. The Taliban are based in Afghanistan and are the ones who had a part and prob still do have a part in heroin

financing drug deals is different in producing it there may be isis linked groups involved but isis do not occupy Afghanistan so they cant control it they may be involved in financing deals. A part of there income no doubt comes from illegal activity's but the majority of there income comes through extortion meaning they can survive without drug trafficking and remember this information comes from the russians you always have to be skeptical of what they say.
