Is he really 5 ft. 2?

I only ask because in the myriad photographs and video clips I have seen of him not many guys tower over him - which I assume they would if he was that short.

Does he wear lifts? Or is everyone else really just that short?

Here's an example. Joe Ligambi's listed height is approximately 5 ft. 8 inches tall.

Yet in photographs he looks the same height give or take as Scarfo and Merlino.

Also while I am here, what height was Nicky Scarfo Jr. and the Ciancaglini brothers?

Jr is around 5.8 ish Skinny is short . Nick sr 5.2 Phil L looks taller on TV he is like 5.6 ish Chang's ??

I'm pretty sure all those other guys are pretty short relatively speaking. Joey in pics next to his wife is like a good 4-5 inches shorter and I'd put her at 5'7 tops. Joe Ligambi would be a stretch at 5'8 as well. Even John Ciancaglini who looks taller than the rest is around 5'8. None of these guys are going out for the basketball team except for Lucibello and the Wagners if you want to include those guys...

I seen that picture of Merlino, Lucibello and Mikey Chang and couldn't believe how short Chang was.

You see the headshot and assume he's got to be about a strapping 6 ft. tall because of his facial structure and stuff.

Stanfa too looks about 5ft. 8 inches, right?

Maybe I thought Mike Chang would've been taller cos he was playing basketball shortly before the first hit on his life IDK.

So Billy D'Elia, Fat Pete Chiodo, Joseph Corrao and maybe Frank Coppa taller than me.

He is about 5-06. He is not 5-02.

What did your friend say Merlino was like in prison Belmont?

My buddy did 7 years and while waiting to be transferred to a fed prison, he was locked up with him while merlino was on trial for murder in a newark nj court house. He called me and said ," by the way, you ever hear of some guy merlino from philly"?
He said he was a nice guy and mentioned how he took everything in stride, he wasnt stressed. Thats about it.
My friend was not a mob guy amd knew nothing about lcn but became friends with a bunch while locked up. He is friends with a few after being released. He knew some heavy hitters but on a friendly basis nothing business related. He always said how these wiseguys didnt stress in prison. He also said the mob guys akways avoided ass kissers and hanger on's.
He also spoke highly of carmine agnello which ive stated before.

Meek better keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't steal any jewellery.

I remember reading a George Anastasia article where he described either Michael or John Ciancaglini, I want to say Michael, as 6 ft. 2.

Then you see photos and Michael looks maybe three or four inches taller than Joey.

Then again, Dante says John is about 5ft. 11 in person and most people lose an inch or two as they get older so maybe John could pass for 6 ft. 1 height in his peak give or take.

Johnny Chang is about 5”11 . He was literally standing right next to me last month at Chickies and Pete’s. I always thought he was tall so I was shocked he was my height.

He used to be 6”1 and shrunk (I remember reading that article too about when he got out of prison in 1995 that the Philly Inquirer ran) , don’t forget he’s in his 60s. By the way this is a ridiculous conversation to have, how did I get roped into this LOL? Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
