Was wondering if anyone got this yet. I think I seen it was out for kindle but haven't heard anything about it yet.

I think I'm gonna get it. I thought the bath ave crew was a interesting bunch. Gonna be good to hear another version of the group other then Calandra. I was glued in on the American mob series when they were talking about the bath ave group.

How believable is joey calco? Any input guys?

I actually read the whole book last night.. It's a quick read.. Written like shit but like you said if you're intersted in the Bath Ave maniacs check it out.. It's hard to say if he's beleivable because there's not much info on those guys.. Most of the book is basically Calco talking about himself.. One thing I found really strange/funny is that he uses substitutes for all curse words.. Hhaha I swear it's really funny.. He just won't curse

Yep Calco did but few years back he owned a pizza place in fla under a new identity... Some white trash rednecks were fucking with him about a calzone so he hopped over the counter a pistol whipped them both.. Let's just say his cover was blown and he was sent back to the clink

On the last episode on inside the American mob with the bath ave crew. Calandra was bring interviewed and I also found him to be pretty credible. Just sea like he's telling how he saw it. I'll grab his book. I didn't no he had one coming out.

Tommy does he talk a lot about Anthony Spero, what was he like, etc? I've always wanted to read more on him. Real interesting guy, very low-key.
He ordered Paulie Gulino whacked for pushing him when arguing on the street.
I hear he loved pigeons and would race them against Sonny Black's and a few other guys.
They say he loved fireworks also, his firework show in Brooklyn would put John Gotti's to shame.

-I shot him a coupla' times.
-What's a couple?
-Hmm, more than a couple... Really I don't know the exact amount, maybe I shot him 10 times, 12 times?
-Maybe fifteen?
-Hmm, it could've been fifteen...

Same with me malandrino. Every time I hear Anthony Spero's name I'm always hoping to hear more information about him. But true cosa Nostra to the end he was. All the Bonannoos were singing and he stayed a stand up guy. Got to give him credit
I always hear how much power he had when he was out and in my opinion was a very interesting person to say the least.
I would love to watch or read a bio about Spero but it's harder with the ones that don't want you to no about them.

Yes he does.. Basically the whole book is about how Spero looked out for him since he was like 5 years old, Watched him grow up, and turned those guys into real bad mofuckas.. Malandrino theres Caicos version of what went down with Gulino as well.. Tell you one thing Gulino had balls.. Not many would mush the acting boss in the face and stick around Brooklyn to take him on.. Crazy fucking guy

I downloaded this book on Kindle early last week and read it in no time. A very quick read. It is well worth the $4 price tag. This is one I will read again for sure. It shows how extensive the low level drug trade is in NYC- even worse than I expected. I now look forward to Calandra's book.
