Watched this for the first time last night, hadn't even heard of it before, seems to have been released in 2007. The movie tries to be a mixture of goodfellas, a bronx tale and some Freddie Prinze Jr romantic movie, which is a strange combination.

Watchable but abit predictable. Alec Baldwin is the Gambino capo in it lol, he wasn't actually too bad.

That movie surprised me. I mean, it wasn't great, and I don't know if I'd watch it again. But I kinda enjoyed it smile.

Paul Vario was a mafioso, a capo, and later the consigliere of the Lucchese crime family. He also has the distinction of being Henry Hill’s teacher/father figure on the mobster way of life. A fictional character played by actor Paul Sorvino based on Vario was featured in the film Goodfellas.
