My father's parents are from Bracigliano, Italy. A tiny town you'll never see on a map with only one road that leads into and out of town. My mom's mother is from the same town, and her father is an Irish guy she met when she came to America. So that'd make me 75% Italian and 25% Irish. Guess I'm Italrish lol

My mom was born in Reggio, Calabria and my father was born in San Marino, but his father was born in Reggio, Calabria. Both came to the U.S. prior to their 7th birthday, which makes me 1st generation Italian American.

I was searching Google for info on former Westchester County DA Jeanine Pirro when I cam across info on Dana Pirino, former Bush Press Secretary. On the right hand side of the screen it listed her Nationality as American and Italian. While she may hold dual-citizenship, it's doubtful. Nationality identifies the country of which one is a citizen. Its listing of Italian is her ethnicity.

I tried to find a Google contact, but to no avail.

My father's side has been here a while. I think you could call his sides irish or scots-irish if really needed to. My mothers ancestors all came from Italy. I don't really think of myself as half this or that too much. For the most part I just consider myself to be a good ol' American cracker.
