The Mafia Is Not Primarily An Organisation Of Murderers. First And Foremost,The Mafia Is Made Up Of Thieves. It Is Driven By Greed And Controlled By Fear.
Between The Law And The Mafia, The Law Is Not The Most To Be Feared

For obvious reasons, enforcement of Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy (BLP) can be pretty stringent at times. In this case the sections went because, while the entire page was sorely lacking in references, most of the people discussed were still alive.
Fixing the page up is a pretty huge task. Maybe I'll take a shot at it sometime.
Or hell, anyone with a book or willing to take the time to dig for news articles can do it themselves.

The problem is anybody can go in and re-edit the Wiki articles at any time. So after doing proper research and a nice compilation of an article that maybe took weeks to do, a 14 year old playing "Mafia Wars" on SP3 can come in and mess it up using only his imagination as reference. Yuck!

Fanboys are all over wikipedia claiming their ethnic group's mafia is not only the most powerful type of organized crime in the world, but in the entire fucking universe. The wikipage of the Albanian mafia is a prime example of this.

You can easily look at the page's history and restore it to the version before the vandalism...

A decent writer/investigator's worst nightmare. Imo, they should lock the most important organized crime pages so that those anonymous shit kids can nog longer add their own fantasies.
