There's a ton. The owner of Roma food lives right here in Holmdel. A lot of Genovese guys live here. Todaro lives here. All the strip clubs on 35 are backed by the mob. Waste management, construction, pizzerias. There was a Top Tomato that went up in the Holmdel shopping center last year, and less than a month later it got shut down. lol
But maybe it's more that a lot live here, than actual activity going on.

Nah, Earle is huge though, and gets all the parkway contracts, that's why you see them in particular. Take a look at those cranes down there sometime..talk about HUGE!!

i used to deliver pizza to earle asphalt when i was way younger. seemed about as legit a company as can be, but they are huge.

Tony Spalliero, from Marlboro, NJ, was with the Gambino's. He died in 2010. He was a multi million dollar real estate developer/ broker / land developer, etc etc.
Now his sons still own and operate a ton of strip clubs around here. One being Bourbon Street. Other clubs, as well, that I can't think of at the moment.

Obviously, I'm just talking Monmouth County, NJ. South and North Jersey are many others.

lol, That's interesting that you celebrated your 18th there!! I waitressed there when I was 19-20 (waitressed, not danced!). They still don't serve alcohol and are all nude. I dont think they were ever mobbed up, but it's possible they were and I just didn't know it. It's strange if they're not, but I've never heard anything close to them being mob.
I'm still like 10 minutes from there, and they are still doing a ton of business.

Everyone thinks that the Mob's presence in Jersey is restricted to the urban areas of Essex, Hudson and Union counties in N. Jersey, but its noticeable in a lot of suburban Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean Counties in Central Jersey.
