Now Casey will be released on July 17 and I have a feeling this poor woman is gonna need a bodyguard. Probably even more than one. Now, given her reputation it might be difficult to get someone who'd be willing to take a bullet for her, but as we all know, for the right amount of money, anything is possible.

It's weird. Although I'm generally against Capital Punishment, except in extreme cases, and I didn't want to see the state of Florida execute this woman had she been convicted of this crime, I now hope some crackpot shoots her right between the eyes. I mean that, too.

Duct tape had been placed over the slain 2-year-old's mouth before decomposition. The toddler's skeletal remains were found mixed with garbage bags and a laundry bag. The autopsy report lists the cause of death as homicide.

and it took years to let things settle down. Yet finally I see where he has been put away, maybe not for what he did that day to his ex wife and the Golden Boy, but still he is away.

Now this screw up with this child killer Casey Anthony brings things right back to the top for me. How can we as people stand here and let a woman who killed her own child get away with this?

It's amazing. Giving her the benefit of the doubt that she is innocent ( not aquitted of the charges but actually innocent) the first thing any decent and loving mother would say is that they would now want to find the person responsible for killing their child.

But then again...why would we expect something like that to be said by a mother who went out dancing the night away while her child was missing, waiting over a month before reporting the child missing, and lying to police on FOUR different occasions!

If it smells like shit and looks like shit..it usually IS shit.

Whether she killed her child or not...in my eyes...she still is a piece of shit.

It's a shame that she was not charged with some kind of child negligence charge ( I don't believe that Florida has a charge like that in their state...dontomasso can you educate us on this?) because there was no way that they COULD have aquitted her on that kind of a charge.

I don't think any of the jurors thought that she was innocent. I think they believed she had something to do with her child's death. However, if the prosecutor couldn't prove it beyond a reasonable doubt, then that's that. It's their duty to let her go.

DC, I was reminded of something Polly Klaas's father said. They were interviewing him about Jon Benet's parents possible involvement in her death. He was surprised that they had hired an attorney before they would answer questions from the police.

Mr. Klaas said that when his daughter first went missing, he was questioned by the police. He said they wanted to know his whereabouts when Polly disappeared, etc. He answered all of their questions, because he didn't care what they did to him. His Polly was gone. The worst thing in the world had already happened. What more could the police do to him??

We each measure our own grief. Had he been indicted and tried in connection with his daughter's disappearance or death, that would have consumed not only his family's financial resources, but most if not all of their emotional resources as well.

Wow, that's some fighting words there. The jury was stupid as hell not to convict her of manslaughter but I blame the prosecutor Jeff Asshton who turned the jury off so much with his arrogant and pretentious antics as for why the jury came back with their verdict.

The man has no scruples, has been on every show and didn't even wait for the sentencing to start getting paid.
