Apparently we find on in the season premier who got Lucille-ed, there has to be a twist.

I wonder IF we won't know right away. They may show Carol, Tara, Father Gabriel and those who aren't with Negan before they get to that scene. Would they dare?? panic

Btw, I have TW/Spectrum cable and it comes on at 9:00 here. My daughter has AT&T Uverse and it comes on at 6:00. Needless to say, for this episode I'm going to her house to watch. smile

For those who watch Talking Dead afterward, I hear that's gonna be an hour and a half.

I can't wait til Sunday!!!!

Gotta applaud the writers for coming up with something NOBODY saw coming and not being afraid to sacrifice important characters.

Looks like there was an alternate scene where it was Maggie that got the bat. Glad they didn't use it. Not right it being a woman and the idea of her not being unconscious after the first blow is ridiculous.

Glenn
was beaten to death it didn't really come has a shock as i thought he had been killed in the last season only for him to survive so this time wasn't as bad.But i felt bad for
Click to reveal..
Abraham
as i was just starting to like him. Goes to show nobody is untouchable.

Rick, as the lead, is the only character that is really untouchable.

Daryl to a lesser extent because he's a fan favorite.

Wow!!!! uhwhat panic What an intense, gruesome episode. I was literally on the edge of my seat, yelling at the tv. The most gruesome episode. Negan is a real psycho showing NO mercy whatsoever. panic As much of a downer as the episode was I felt inspired to re-watch it and am glad I did. Knowing what was gonna happen took away the tension I guess. I noticed a couple little things I missed and really appreciated with a well written, well acted show it is.

IMO I pretty much like the whole cast but, Rick and Darryl are untouchable. I love them both. Andrew Lincoln is such a good actor. Nobody plays "broken" as well as him. That scene with Negan, Rick, Carl hit me the hardest. I was crying/cringing.

Anyway, look forward to Sunday which I hear will be much lighter. Whew!!!!

Tonight's episode was good, and they can branch out storylines. At this point, I wish they did not kill Andrea early in the show. She would have really shined during these episodes.

I'm loving Negan! They needed a great bad guy.

Somebody help me out, why did Gabriel dig the grave? He wasn't with Rick and them so why did he do it? Anybody know or did I just miss something?

I'm also wondering if Rick changes his mind about going after Negan once Morgan makes it back (if he does indeed make it back) to tell him about King Ezekiel.

I also wonder how in the world has KE kept Negan from his people? My only guess is they run into one of Negan's guys that were out trying to steal or plunder and promised them the hogs as long as they both kept their mouths shut? That's my only guess.

SPOILERS

Dixie

Somewhere mid show Rick says to Father Gabriel "That was a good idea/smart thinking" (roughly) making the grave. I ASSUME it was a ploy to make Negan think Maggie(or any of Rick's gang) was dead. It wasn't real clear.

Oh I think without a doubt Rick will go back to being Rick. My God, you caught Negan's remark whe Rick said "thank you." Ha ha ha The slimiest of slime that guy. lol

When people were posting how he's the guy you love to hate, I thought no way. You can ONLY hate him. I gotta say I laughed a couple times at him in last night's episode. ie " There's nothing like a holy shit someone's gonna get killed to light a fire under your ass." lol Still, he's a monster.

Yea, I wondered about KE not getting harassed by Negan too. Remember tho, Rick and his gang killed many Negan's people even as they slept. I cringed at that. panic That wasn't like them. They never killed anyone but Walkers or a human to defend themselves or the group.

Rick and Darryl are my two favorites

With Rick, I understand his fear. he's got 2 kids (btw, you caught Rick's comment on baby Judith?)to worry about and after almost having to cut his son's arm off. I'd be broken too.

On the other hand I love Darryl too. What a bad ass. LOL He'd rather stay locked up than say "I am Negan." Damn he's got balls. lol That being said, I'm gonna do a very happy dance when Negan gets killed off (assuming he will)

One of the best episodes IMHO. I just want Darryl to get back with the group before he gets too messed up on "Easy Street." Ha ha ha

Yea I caught his comment to Gabriel but it just threw me off he would know to dig a grave when he wasn't even with Rick and crew when Negan went into baseball mode. I was just making sure I didn't miss a big hint or something so thanks!

Negan was ruthless with that comment at the end. That's another reason I like him as the bad guy, he is just flat out ruthless and doesn't care what they think.

That is a good point about KE, maybe that is why they haven't seen Negan as he might not even show up to places that don't give him any problems which does make sense now.

Daryl proved to be smarter than Rick there though because if he would have said anything about staying or even looked at Rick, Negan would have been feeding him more dog food and a steady playing of Easy Street.....lol

It will be interesting to see how long Negan lasts and how well if at all Rick gets along with KE and their people. They seem to be even more naive than The Hilltop people which we will see next week. I do hate these 90 minute episodes because they are really about an hour long compared to 45 minutes....lol Too many commercials!

In the timeline, it is three days between those two episodes. I assume Rick told his closest members about Negan, plus Carol and Morgan are still unaccounted for by the group. Father Gabriel most likely was covering all the bases of what might to expect when the Saviors showed up.

Negen is such a badass and it's going to take something big to defeat him. I think Negen will be around until at least the end of season 8.

I can't see Rick gaining the advantage until next season, this season i think will be about surviving and regrouping and making alliances with the people on the horses.

But good season so far. Poor old Daryl.

I read somewhere that in an interview, Jeffrey Dean Morgan indicated her WOULD be on thru season 7.

I'm looking for Carol and Morgan to return. They have NO clue what happened. I hope Ezekial group plays into it and can help with Negan. I suspect some members of Negans group (Cheri?) would be willing to help Rick's team.
Btw, it seems that the group could find some place to hide weapons (outside?) where they can turn for an emergency.

Back to Negan tho. He takes all their mattresses and then burns them. God, I hate the guy. mad

AND, he takes all their guns and says "HALF is what I say it is." lol mad
