Ralph would have 3 options if he killed Tony.

1) Blow his own brains out.
2) Go on the lam.
3) Go into the Witness Protection Program.

He killed a Boss without permission. End of story. Nobody in the Soprano family liked him and he couldn't turn to anyone,no other Family,nobody.
As a matter of fact,everyone in that world would want his head on a stick.
You could put a bounty on him consisting of a $20.00 Satriale's Gift Certificate and they'd still be 500 guys after him.

it really hurts every time to see how gloria end up dead like that

and the more i watch season 5 the more i think tony did wrong by staying out of the ny feud
he should have help carmine and take phil and john out
john is greedy and tough person to deal with
carmine is more stupid and easier and respectful
