I'm not a NHL hockey fan. However, I follow the Penguins right into the NHL Finals. Now, I know that some of you are hockey fans, so maybe ya'll can shed some light on this.

We have the Superbowl following the NFL playoffs; we have the World Series following the baseball playoffs. Why don't we have a special name for the NHL championship (it's the same with the NBA apparently, so NBA fans chime in too). I know its called the Stanley Cup, but that's like calling the Superbowl the Lombardi Trophy.

I remember when I first got at all interested in the Penguins that I began to follow the NHL playoffs. I kept looking for some designation of the championship match until I finally realized that the finals was that designation. Anyway, your thoughts?

American Airlines is ending its provision of charter service to several NFL teams including my Steelers. So, those teams will are seeking other providers.

The article prompts me to ask: is the NFL prepared for, God forbid, a team's charter flight crashing?

Jaguars threw for just 87 yards and ran for 155, 88 of which were by the QB. Steelers are going to have field day with them next Sunday.

Agree, Buffalo and Jacksonville should have played each other since they were on the same level and the play + score shown us that.

Once either of them advanced into the next level we all know they will be crushed but I wish Bills had that opportunity since anything can happen in a single game.

Pittsburg will be giving at least +7 and will cover that easily.

That 4th Quarter of the Vikings game was outstanding football.

I thought the spread was 5pts but it was actually 3.5+ Saints.

Well, I'm disappointed that my Steelers lost yesterday. I disagreed with a couple of their play calls, but I just watch them on TV.

It is incongruous that Ben could throw for nearly 500 yards, 5 touchdowns, and score 42 points and still lose.

New England will handle the Jaguars and the Vikings will handle the Eagles.

I promised myself I wouldn't be stupid enough to bet against New England....again. But I can't resist. I really like Nick Foles and the way the Eagles are playing. They do seem to have that "team that could beat New England" vibe . Then again, I always say that.
