March 11, 2024 — The Cassano brothers and their reputations for ferocity embody the Chicago mob’s Elmwood Park crew. No wonder they were proposed for buttons by a man everyone called “The Beast.”

He owns a sweepstakes machine business in Norridge called “Games Gone Wild” and according to sources on both sides of the law is a “soldier” in the Elmwood Park crew and has ties-access to the crew’s highest levels. Attorneys for Cassano deny he has any involvement in mob affairs.

so are we to assume sb has elevated cassano to elmwood park crew capo? or is he BOSS or maybe the long lost link to the...patriarca crime family? i will not pay for said articles and i dont write this fishing for info from those that have paid up, just curious where the info is going. cassano in my eyes is an active but minor low level outfit guy, not a crew boss, for someone to be a capo it may help to have more than one associate working for him. galione the muscle he was busted with may never be part of a crime again and can be viewed as a onetime associate. it has been 7 years since the alleged extortion what if anything have these 2 been up to?

Gioacchino “Jack” Galione, who is only 47 is running things for EP in my opinion. He won't get any serious jail time it looks like considering the recent mistrial and he's the future for that crew.

According to Scott Burnstein Rudy Fratto is the Captain and Gary Gagliano as Acting Captain. Scott Burnstein says the the crew is divided into two groups one ran by Gary Gagliano and the other by Tony Dote.

By looking at all of the recent cases and also all of the current "evidences" which we have, my opinion is that Vena is probably the current main rep or "street boss" for both the Grand and EP crews. Dote and Gagliano are possibly his crew bosses or capos, but I personally disagree that Fratto is allegedly still active.....just my two cents
