Yeah doesn't Barney own a bunch of apartment buildings? I know some of the known richer guys like Scotto have died more recently but there are a few guys like that who got to be pretty damn rich.

But I do get the article's point....there aren't going to be that many wise guys worth $36-million. Even in the heyday with guys making big fortunes I suspect the majority pissed a lot of it away on gambling and other vices.
