This is one of the best things said on any mob podcast. Check out the 17:50 mark, he speaks on informant deals for a couple of minutes. Wise words.

Re: Merlino Comment - 11/25/23 04:55 AM

I finally watched it through to the end, and it was the best yet. I'm starting to think more than hoalf the people on here are LE or just don't want to face the facts that rats have lied. Merlino not only exposes John rube, he plays tapes of Rubeo saying it too. I did not know that the government was paying Rubeo $15,000 a month while he worked for them, or that he broke his deal multiple times and was always forgiven. Merlino plays Rubeo not only saying so himself, but laughing about it on Gene Borello's podcast! Rubeo and Borello laugh about how Rubeo made more money illegally while working for the government than he had before he became a rat. The best episode yet.

I am enjoying all of Merlino’s content but it really makes me feel he is no longer Boss and is retired because I cannot see an active Boss discussing all the things he is talking about.
What do you guys think?

Re: Merlino Comment - 11/26/23 01:49 AM

I don't think he has been boss for a long time, I also think they are almost an inactive family. Merlino will likely, and wrongly be locked up soon, or charge with a crime just for the podcast. It's wrong for the government to do, but they'll do it.

Never been a Skinny fan … and trust me he is just as bad or worse then the people he talks about but he is not a rat and is as stand-up as it comes .

The feds : I’ve been posting here for years saying they will do anything to any member of your family legitimate or not …. They will do absolutely anything to get illegal evidence in any manner possible.

Re: Merlino Comment - 11/26/23 05:11 PM

That's a good and fair evaluation Serpiente. The tapes of Rubeo talking on that podcast bear out how far they will go, but also where some draw the line. I wonder if there will be fallout for Rubeo or Borrello for the things they said and even laughed about on their podcast. Rubeo was the feds rat, and he tells of how they let him get away with so much, while paying him $15,000 a month. If Merlino had claimed it their would have been doubters, but JR and GB brag and laugh about it.

I watched one or two of the SKINNY YouTube videos and he was explaining where is grandparents lived and his mother and father lived … but he never mentioned that they also lived in Atlantic City ( Ducktown) Chuckie did back in the day . I having a hard time remembering everything but it think Chuckie stayed in AC with one or both of his grandparents and I pretty sure it was in the 50’s .

Not that any of this matters but i am surprised how much he doesn’t know or will not talk about … there family was extremely close to Scarfo’s and if Chuckie did get terribly terribly “ intoxicated to the point of embarrassment at many places …. And i was never privy to anything mob related when it came to meetings ect. but just around town in summer or if they were in town for meeting with Nick after would go out a party and he would get rocked ! One night Chuckie & Lawrence were both so drunk to the point they couldn’t speak properly in a cafe under the Key Club on Mississippi & Atlantic and it was packed and everyone seen it .

Now for you and i it’s just another drunk night … but with Nick’s guys everything got back to Nick and if it wasn’t Skinny giving them a bad name it was other guys doing stuff intoxicated and it getting back to Nick or worse it would make the local paper .

Ducktown was a small neighborhood and everyone knew each other and even if you were up a few blocks in the Chelsea section the owners of these places were friends of the Scarfo’s or Phil ect.

In his Thanksgiving video he interviews his guest, man just let out after 47 years in prison for a crime he did not commit! He could have gotten out 30 years earlier, but the DA blocked it, and the DA is the one who represents Phil Leonetti. Merlino has come up big with these podcasts.

And if the queen had a dick, she’d be the king.

You can play the ‘what if’ game with everything. What’s your point?

Anyone have thoughts on the man who Merlino interviewed? The guy did 47 years for crime he was not guilty of.

Who is the guy who does the pod with Joey ?
Posted By: Serpiente

Re: Merlino Comment - 12/01/23 07:27 PM

If you want to know what i am talking about watch Skinny podcasts / YouTube videos .

Skinny is sharing a lot and he better make sure he checks the edited version before it gets posted.

I am not talking about Eddie J telling it “ whom I’ve known for over fifty years and speak to often… although Eddie and my blood family are very very close and my first cousin and him are extremely tight and Eddie is not the type to share anything that would cause any problems , its Skinny that will tell you how he was acquitted legally and it was the jury and Eddie and his team that got Skinny off from many lies from half ass rats .

Most think Jr. got railroaded and of course he did because of his last name… because he never been violent or been connected to violence … but feds need these big name guys in cases …. The overtime in a mob case for federal agents is unbelievable ! If it was back in the day one case could last five years and that would get a top agents three times the amount of time worked then a regular agent …. So mob agents can get there pension or annuity stuffed with twenty five years of money in just eight years of mob cases …. Almost a scam … but it’s done till this day .

As far as I know or see it’s just low level Philly family … there are not many projects going on like back in the day … Nick jr. was actually on a Luke’s construction job on a condo on Ventnor side of Albany ave bridge back before the First Plus case … and he seen me a called me into office ( trailer ) and we caught up .. that was the first time I’ve seen him since he had his restaurant in Ventnor I believe … as far as these days he has his brother helping him and his nephews ….his mother recently passed so no parents left… his old crew are laying low very low because of the way shit went down .

But as far as five families operating here its not out in the open and there not much happening as per the condition of our entire country right now … the mayor here is a low level gangster here but I don’t think he is tied to any family and it surprises me because they could get him in a pinch and blackmail him but as far as I know the city is falling down around him like Philly ,NYC , Chicago San Francisco ect .

Sammy Gravano is on a major network calling Biden and his crime family out !! FOX possibly.

It may be that there are no names of those 3 because Burnstein's source has not made them up yet.
