Why don't we post more from The Gangster Report?

Even if you think that most of what they say is bullshit with no sources, it seems to me like it should still be discussed here, even if it's just to tell us why you think it's bullshit. There's really not many people out there keeping up with current events concerning organized crime in North America, we really can't afford to be picky. At least they are trying to stay on top of things.

Scott Burnstein. He is related to the Bernstein family who created Detroit's Purple Gang. Abe Bernstein was the original leader.
His most popular book is Mafia Prince: Inside America's Most Violent Crime Family.

I know it's a paysite, but we don't have to copy and paste everything he says to simply discuss his material. We were doing it for a while.

I personally dont have any problems with Scott and I also respect his work, although many good researchers are asking on who are his alleged sources, something which he probably will never reveal. Thats his only problem with most of the fellas who in turn doubt his work.

That is true, plus I have seen him in a few interviews where he was just plain obnoxious, yelling things as if that gives his stories credibility. Scott Burnstein is one of the worst. He is even worse than the one Merlino hates, the guy they call Mayo Face on sites like this.

He’s made some bold claims that thus far I’ve seen none of them prove to be accurate. From what I see he makes about the same “educated” predictions that most of us would/could. He’s the only one who reported joe cammaranos house getting shot at which is a pretty bold claim to say the least. Thus far nothing has proven that but he will gain some credibility if it is true.

Despite controversy people have, capeci on the other hand I see report stuff relatively frequent that later proves true. Bernstein does credit capeci as the best in the genre also in his defence.

Nonetheless I do enjoy burnsteins videos and his speculations but credibility is definitely still highly questionable for me.
