Is there any paperwork to prove he did cooperate? I know he was subpoenaed by the grand Jury looking into Denaples but I have never seen any paperwork to show he cooperated. As far as I know and from what Birkbeck’s new book states all he ever did was admit he knew Denaples.

Side note. I preordered the book from Birkbecks own site and received it on 7-11. Birkbeck and D’Elia are at the Barnes & Noble in Wilkes Barre today and those fuckers at B&N said I can’t bring my copy to get signed unless I bought it from the store or online and had proof of receipt. I tagged Birkbeck on Instagram with a post showing what B&N told me. I doubt he will respond.

I've been wondering the same thing. Even if he did, who the hell did he even put away? Seems to me that if he was indeed a cooperator, he only snitched on politicians.

It’s like being pregnant , you can’t just be a little bit pregnant you’re either pregnant or not.

There is no grey area whatsoever in ratting, Big Billy is a rat 100%.

Granted he didn’t rat out any mob guys, because he could have given up a lot of people as he was even meeting frequently with Uncle Joe Ligambi in the 2000s but he is a rat don’t be confused about it as there is no grey area.

Writing a Book about your past criminal activities and naming names is also a Rat Move, didn’t even address that major rat move.

Big Billy is 100% rat, he must be broke after nobody would touch him after he ratted and had to write the book for some $$$ to live off of. Just my two cents.

People don't always write books for money, some people just want to get their stories out or be known. I mean, how much money could he really make with a book anyway? It's not even that lucrative unless you're Stephen King or somebody. A book has to sell an awful lot of copies for it to even be worth the time and effort, if money is what you're after.

I actually think that in this modern world the rules are changing for rats. In Italy, rats have even been known to have been welcomed back into the fold, in fact this was one of boss of bosses Bernardo Provenzano's strategies in rebuilding Cosa Nostra and repairing the damage done by Salvatore Riina. In one case, a rat was even found at the top of his clan many years after flipping.
