Adamantly disagree with keeping guys like him and Orena locked up at this point their lives. They're both basically vegetables. Let them live out what little time they have left with loved ones.

Keeping them inside is utterly ridiculous. They pose no threat whatsoever.

I thought about this all day; Just let Vic Amuso out to spend his remaining days with his children and grandchildren…. He poses no threat …

Same goes for Bobby Manna and Vic Orena.

I think it's an ideological thing like "you're the boss, you'll die in prison as a reminder to others".

If you look at this objectively Amuso doesn’t deserve to be let out. Vitale buried him and many others when he flipped. Multiple murders and so much other shit.

Bobby on the other hand is a different story. Conspiracy to kill someone who died of cancer in prison and supposedly ordering the murder of Schiff on a fucking wire in a bathroom(nobody who testified was able to ID Richie as the trigger man) and getting 80 fucking years is ridiculous. He’s been down over 30. Every time anything popped off at at Fairton they would send Bobby to the shu if it involved Italians. When that jerk of got his jaw broke they put Bobby in the shu for weeks for nothing. They have tormented that man long enough. He’s 94, send him the fuck home.

I have to agree with Vito, this just makes them look soft. Quit complaining and just die in the can. Kissing the government's ass and shit.

You have to ask yourself , would he show mercy to you ?
People should not lose sight that, these people would kill you instantly, if they had to and not blink and eye.

On the other hand, nicely said.

As long as I’ve been here I have never had any compassion in any of my postings for these guys and I still don’t except for Manna. I feel like he got screwed. The others get what they deserve and too bad if their families miss them. I’m sure the families of their victims miss their loved ones as well. I also agree with Furios statement.

I only feel bad for any innocent victims, just because they weren't involved. If it's only fellow mobsters they killed then a mercy release is fine with me.

I think that applies to Casso, but not Amuso. I feel if they can cut a deal to let Gravano out when he was in his 40's after he admits to 20 murders, then let him out again after he is dealing drugs in witness protection, they can let Amuso and others out when they are old and dying.

Re: Little Vic hoping for compassionate release... - 06/22/23 05:19 PM

Letting them out is often more for the families, especially when they are senile or to sick to function.

Re: Little Vic hoping for compassionate release... - 06/22/23 06:10 PM

They shouldn't even have compassionate release if they're gonna pick and choose which races and ethnic groups will be considered and which ones wont...Yeah, Amuso was a bad guy, but so is anybody else in prison old enough to be dying of old age, they're not in there for being nice guys...Either hand out releases fairly based on the seriousness of the ailments, or do away with it all together !!

88 years old damn time really flies. He has served 31 years and never caused trouble in prison let him go, he isn't a threat and has done over 30 years. It's demonizing an old man.

Fuck em, I watched my Da go to work everyday and take care of his Family respectably. I also saw these guys troll the neighborhoods and city doing whatever the fuck they wanted and treat people as well as their families like shit. They talked of honor and respect and they had none, fuck em.

DuesPaid, quit lying and making up stories.

Are his victims still dead? If so, he stays in jail where he deserves to be

Re: Little Vic hoping for compassionate release... - 06/23/23 10:16 AM

If he is senile or sick and only has a few months left, yes. If he still has his mind and in good health then no. Honestly if it came to having to let either Amuso or Casso out, then Amuso would be the choice.

Re: Little Vic hoping for compassionate release... - 06/23/23 03:56 PM

They just agreed to parole Leslie Van Houten, a Manson follower sentenced to death who butchered an elderly couple and she's only 70 years old and healthy...

In my opinion, releasing Manna, Orena and Amuso is the definition of a compassionate release for their families, since they're not gonna have any quality of life at home anyway, besides being near their kids...

The Bureau of Prisons is always bitching about funding, but here they're refusing to release 3 guys who they have to house, feed and provide healthcare for...

It doesn't make sense to me !!

Are his "victims" fellow hoodlums? If so, release him.

Let him out, he's harmless ? Ah, no. Didn't he pick who became Boss of the family as recently as 2017 and has been getting tribute payments for the last 35 years.

He never renounced the life, gave up the title. Knowing Vic he'll host a making ceremony in his living room he's so LCN
